Stop bit**ing, the repair is free. If you can't wait 2 weeks for your 360, then you probably have no life lol.

I have a Jan 06-360 console and a Feb 09-360 console both run great.

I have a Wii not sure how old it is but it's like 2 years old and the internal fan went out on me. Just added an intercooler and it has been running good since. It's been knocked off the table a few times by corded gamecube controllers getting caught and pulled so it is probably the most durable of the 3 I have. Of course it get's the least amount of play anymore so it's hard to tell.

I have a 40GB PS3 that is about 1 1/2 years old and it has been to Sony twice, and needs to go back again. (YLoD, and Disc Read Error) Now the Blu-Ray is out. after the 3.0 update. I'm not spending $150 to fix something Sony's update broke. My point is all the consoles have problems

I know the earlier 360's were junk, but I doubt the number of failures of new consoles produced over the last two years are any higher than the other company's systems. It's just that there are still some crap ones out there from the first few years that keep getting recycled and break again. Microsoft should have trashed them all and taken a loss. It would have been cheaper than repairing the same consoles over and over. Not a smart move. Of course neither was getting your console manufactured in China by the lowest bidder. Also repacking Xenon 360s as Game of the Year bundles wasn't very smart either.

They should have scrapped everything but the Falcons and Jaspers.
