ok so i bought a wii a little over a year ago, and at the start i loved it, i really did, companies made promises, nintendo showed some awesome titles, and i loved the controller. sadly i am what you would call a hardcore gamer. i like games with content, story, length, depth, and somthing more to show off then the controlls. i loved twilight princess, glaxy, and even got into metroid, and the madden that came out at launch blew my mind contoll wise. but since then the wii has become the home of shovel ware, ps2 ports, and failed attempts to fly. to teh point that you can name me one wii title that is awesome and i can name you 3 or 4 xbox or even ps3 titles. and teh excuse that developers are getting use to the hardware is long gone. my wii is basicaly untouched now days, sadly. and as a system for many people to play at once, anyone can admit the online is lackluster, and microsoft and sony even tho it costs a fee, are totaly worht it if only becuase of support, chat, leader boards, touries, dlc and so on. i am really let down by the wii, yes there are games i play and have a blast, but there is no game like elder scrolls or something that i can play for over 80 hours and not be totaly done, no forza style racing game with all those options, no gears, no tactical shooters that shine, no decent fighters besides naruto. basicaly a good system is lacking games. making me feel like nintendo has abandoned hard core. if anyone can convince me otherwise, i would like it, but ive been debating this for like weeks, and i am the gamer who wants a deep experience, not a waggle fest. anyone else feel the same?

You lasted longer than I did but my selling the Wii was more based on getting offered an insane amount of money for it than being dissappointed.

I mean yes I was dissappointed but that was tied up more in my problems than with the problems with the Wii.

No controller waggling for me after working all day it was just to much to ask when the alternative was to sink into the couch and do some slight thumb waggling.

yeah, sometimes i prefer to play a clasic style game, depending on the game, shooters, wii all teh way, when they are done right, but for a long rpg type game or something that has a ton of wagglin, im a clasic man, and also fighters are better ona pad

I bought my Wii to get my girlfriend into gaming. She loves it, so job well done. I do enjoy a few games on Wii myself.

But games directed more toward me, I go to my PS3/360 for those.

I would've sold my Wii for PS3 or 360 as well. Personally I don't have fun playing the Wii.

I know what you mean. I can play the wii for 20 mins, longer with freinds but thats it. its a console to play with others.

i always play it for a bit, then go back to the ps3 for ages. the wii has lost what it has a year ago.
