It is some retro hipster thing really.

You arent cool unless you can be a 30 something guy and say how cool my little pony is infront of other people. Well, you cant think you are cool and pretend you are cool infront of others doing the same thing is what I meant.

People just do it because its the current cool thing to do. In a couple months it wont be cool anymore and no one will mention my little pony again except to make fun of the people who said they loved it for a month because it was a fad.
