People just do it because its the current cool thing to do. In a couple months it wont be cool anymore and no one will mention my little pony again except to make fun of the people who said they loved it for a month because it was a fad.

Im completly on boad with what your saying, i dont have any idea.[My sister] She gets me a pony shirt as a joke thinking I wont even wear it, and just to prove her wrong I wear it to school then One day she is telling me to watch the show and what not, and im just like sure whatever....I'm not gonna lie I cringed for a while sitting through the opening theme it was so...odd; girly. But watching it, it was just...good.  I loved the animation style, it was bright and colorful and nice to watch. It had a nice charm to it, fun charecters, and its even funny. The more I watched the more it grew on me.

The best thing I can compare it too is the old Powerpuff Girls cartoon. Obviously, its intended for a certain audiance (young girls) but it has an appeal that everyone can like it.
