My opinion why Xbox360 will outsell Ps3 & Failure Rate comparsion

Alright well a Ps3 User will only need to buy the Ps3 Once.

An Xbox360 Only need to buy the Xbox360 once, Unless the User gets banned and Rebuys the system, So you've got banned users Rebuying the system 2-3 times. Ofcourse not all Xbox Live users get banned.

RROD(Red Ring of Death) Is a General Xbox360 Hardware failure.

YLOD(Yellow Light of Death) Is a Ps3 Hardrive Error or Internal Chip Error.

The key difference between the two errors is the notoriety associated with them. Whereas the YLOD affects approximately 0.5% of PS3s (mainly older 20GB and 60GB models), RROD has been estimated to affect anywhere between 25-65% of Xbox 360s. There are countless numbers of stories to be heard both online and offline of Xbox 360 owners having to send in their console multiple times to be fixed, or even getting back a console from Microsoft that suffers from RROD again within a week.

meh, Im on my scond 360, fouth yes fourth no joke) Wii, and still my first PS3 (although to be fair Ive also had th PS3 for only a few months.)

the reason people keep buying 360s back my self included is because ive spent so much time invested so much money into that system that it would just be a waste if i just got rid of it all the friends ive made on there and arcade games ive got i would feel like ive wasted my money to be honest but if it does rrod on me when it out of warranty i might just not buy another its just annoying to have to deal with

My 360 has failed a few times, as I have one from launch, and an Elite.

PS3 is still going strong, and my Wii is only brand new, so that's just damn super.

Ignorance runs rampid here. Some people have zero concept of money. Lets all reward a billion dollar company that puts out horrible software and hardware by supporting them even when everything they put out fails. Im guilty as well. 2 360s since launch and 2nd one has been in for repare 4x now.I think the biggest reason people stick with them is because they are so far in debt. A bunch of games that have no resale value. Multiple controllers$$$, hdds, HD cables, wifi, warranties, LIVE ect ect. They feel stuck. OR that is what my deal was...I just felt stuck. Not now though, im finally free.

Live and learn bro...I have had nothing but bad luck with the 360. 1st one I got at launch was my fault. No warranty. BUT who would have known? I have 17 consoles and many of them from their launch and the 360 is the 1st to fail me. I never even thought about warranties until the 360 mayham. When I get my PS3 in Feb I will be getting a 3-5 year warranty at least. You live and learn.
