Me and my friend (And somewhat another friend, but he was just there to look pretty) Decided to start a video gaming club at our school. We spent a good time talking about it and planning, and eventually we got a dedicated room and have about 10 steady members.
Last thursday was our second meeting, but our first real meeting.
Our base console was going to be the Wii (Mostly gamecube games, I mean until Brawl. Wii sports is useful too.) Andrew (my friend) had a 360, but we had little intest in bringing it. (And I couldn't think of any 4 player games other then Gears, which is like, meh.) Basically we would always have SSBM, and some other games to play with people. (Whatever I or someone else brings in)
So on the day of the meeting, David, another friend, shows up and he has his 360. The first thing I ask is "What games did you bring?" and he is like "Halo1, Halo2, and gears..." I'm like "Oh... Kay." So we get to setting things up. Andrew shows up and I tell him that David brought his 360. He tells me that he knows, and that he asked what games he brought. And we giggled.
We spent the rest of the day playing video games in the Science room with like, 10 other people. The 360 was playing Halo, and the Wii was mostly playing SSBM. (We stopped to play Wii Sports then play Tales Of Symphonia)
I think only one person even mentioned the ps3. There was a small round of laughter.
Relevance to system wars: The people in there were casual to hardcore gamers, and they all had fun. Playing with last gen games on new systems. YAY VIDEO GAMES.
(P.S.: When David took the 360 out of his backpack, I went over to it and began touching it because my experience around 360s is somewhat low. He was like "Becareful! It has a game inside!" and he slowly, tipped it on its side on the table. I said "They can't be that easy to break." He was like "No dude they break hella easy.")
