5pb, the publisher of visual novels like Steins;Gate and Corpse Party, are making a My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu video game for PlayStation Vita.

Instead of rehashing the anime series, My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu for Vita will have an original story written by Wataru Watari, the original creator of the series. A limited edition will include an OVA on Blu-ray. My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu is slated for release this summer

In other news, someone managed to get the English patched version of the Oreimo translation working on Vita.

It's kind of wierd that VN's aren't just on PSM. They don't require buttons, right? Put it on PSM. It would be a huge boon for the service. (And it would cost less for those publishers).  

Than again, I know nothing about how those VN games (or the companies that make them) operate. So . . .

I like a fair share Japanese games out there. But some weeaboo stuff is just too overwhelming if you understand where I am coming from.

There are some quality VN out there......but you got to dig through a bunch of junk to find them.

YU-NO is my favorite VN and has a great story that makes a mockery of just about any plot used in a video game.

It also plays like a 90s point and click adventure......well it did come out in the 90s....

People have to stop painting all anime stuff with the same brush.

I don't even watch anime nor do I play much VNs and I barely read any manga so it's not like I am a huge fan of the stuff I just know that not all of it is total junk.
