Just look at all that quality gameplay.
Perfect for those pathetic weeaboos who do nothing but play this VN crap.

There are some quality VN out there......but you got to dig through a bunch of junk to find them.
YU-NO is my favorite VN and has a great story that makes a mockery of just about any plot used in a video game.
It also plays like a 90s point and click adventure......well it did come out in the 90s....
People have to stop painting all anime stuff with the same brush.
I don't even watch anime nor do I play much VNs and I barely read any manga so it's not like I am a huge fan of the stuff I just know that not all of it is total junk.
There's no point in trying to convince them, they just want to mess with people and have already made up their minds.

There are certain gimmicks, which become inside jokes, which become a mainstay. And than that (unknowingly) kills off what many audiences see as good concepts. That's my thinking. I'm not all about the samurai-like discipline and solidarity (when it comes to self deprecating humor and just having fun) but stuff in that .gif maybe a trojan horse for something really bad.
Looking at the VK3 stream, I kind of saw VITA's cultural perception being made out to be a device suited (mainly) to mischief makers / sexual deviants. Because third parties went in not having respect for the system or the people that might buy it (eg. self-respecting women) that really is like an ill thought out marketting brand being put out by those third parties.
If gimmicks like grabbing the vita sideways (because one guy thought "teehee" and than that begot another) grows to be a running theme in Japan; that is a serious threat to genuine innovation (in the hardware and software sense) for VITA. Not this year, but next year, when the VITA install base grows and SCEJA gets more leverage the Japanese third parties need to be held up to a standard and that standard must be make it as good as Soul Sacrifice with any and all humor being a bit more intellectual and thoughtful.
