All this crap about AAAs, AAAAs, and GOTYs is getting a bit annoying lately, I simply want great games and I been getting such on all my systems. I rank Mario Galaxy and Zack & Wiki up there as well., along side MGS4 and blah blah. Its not bad to clap for a great score on a great game, but now it simply used for stacking bricks to annoy. I think people are scaling these groups of letters as something so much greater than another group with one less letter or two. I find out the various to sometime be on equal turfs. I find it people think there is one big equation to it, when there is not.

I really, really, really want that game to be still in development. I know Nintendo has said it is on track, but not seeing anything since E3 '06? and that was just a few screens and seconds of video. It's discouraging. I want to see it, and I want to see it at E3! If it's not at E3 it's done for.

I enjoyed it more than GTA IV.

Mario Galaxy really doesn't deserve a 10. I don't think it should have gotten GOTY either with games like Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Halo 3 out.

Disaster is one of my more anticipated games, but from what little I've seen, it's not AAA... maybe AA.

A gimped Rock Band will not score AAA.

Is Crystal Bearers even coming out in 2008? Anyway, it's not going to be AAA.

Animal Crossing is probably a 2009 release... it could score AAA, though.

A gimped Spore will not score AAA.

Monster Hunter? Check its track record.

Kid Icarus... no release date, not even announced by Nintendo.

The Wii will get a LOT of AA games, but as of today, I don't see a single game that has AAA potential.

do people really put so much into just 1 review from just 1 person?

SMG is rated higher than GTA4 and MGS4 on GR. which i would think is a greater accomplishment than getting a 10 on a specific site.
