Kewl, I love Mass Effect.

So what does MI6 have to do with the Mass Effect universe? I think they're just speculating.

I hope this is the case. As I was not too keen on a spin-off multiplayer shooter.

I don't feel like this needs some complicated reveal. I mean, isn't this the kind of announcement that's made as a side note, like "oh, hey, and we did start working on Mass Effect 3, so start getting excited for that." It hasn't even been a year since Mass Effect 2. This isn't shocking or exceting news.

And people had me excited for a mech game....

I thought they said it was for a new IP? Either way, I don't care. I love BioWare and Mass Effect. New IP or not, I'll still get it.

This teaser might or might not be a teaser of the teaser Bioware is planning to show at the VGA's.
(it does kind of make sense though doesn't it?)

This is of course highly speculative. It would also surprise me if it is just Mass Effect 3 where everyone already knew it was coming.

That..also possible but i highly doubt it. their too focused on Call of duty to worry about any other game

More than likely given Sony and EAs relationship Sony will pay for some kind of exclusive content like they have been doing with a lot of other EA games lately.

We knew Mass Effect 3 would come after ME2, before ME1 was even released, since it was announced as a trilogy

It could possibly be a prequel to Mass Effect.
