The majority of good games on 360 that are not on PS3 are on PC is what we mean. If people have a good PC a 360 is practically useless.OdrecNah, it has more than enough good exclusives, to me at least, and I'm a PC gamer who plays most of his games on high settings.

how many times do you have to be proven wrong before you stop this?

Meh i agree though. Maybe has to do with rather having a few good games in a genre than many slightly worse games in a genre. Or simply hating dual analogue for fps and rts. That's probably it, isn't it. Just another case of preference and nothing more. Ah i see. Huh? Wait You are trying to confuzzle me. He was talking about pc. You may think i'm not paying attention because i'm sleepy and my contacts are burning my eyes out but my hot tea gave me +alertness. I guess some people get a 360 (when they have a pc) because they are sometimes in the mood to game on the couch with high quality sound/visuals.. But still.. Personally i'd much prefer to get a DS for gaming away from my pc, if only for the sake of variety. Or maybe many of their friends play on 360... i think that's the real reason. Am i right? Ow and nice one with Your post on the 360 HD games, i didn't know that there were only a few. I thought practically all were subHD.[QUOTE="CaseyWegner"][QUOTE="KungfuKitten"] Meh i agree though. Another myth that Casey has debunked! The 360 isn't a shooter console. But compared to the Wii and PC, the PS3 and 360 ARE shooter consoles IMO.The question is, what number of those PC gamers actually do buy their games? :)
Crimsader
According to Steam alone, at least 20 million.
Give him a year then. :P One thing everyones forgetting in this comparison is the quality of said games involved. As far as my head can work out it stands that the majority of decent 360 titles are also available on the PC while this is not true for the PS3.Now do one showing the percentage of shared/none shared games on PC :P

WHAT?!?!
You get 104 gamesif you buy a PC and 360...(Excluding other multi-platform games)
You get 40 games if you buy a PC and a 360...(Excluding other multi-platform games)
Erm...lolwot?even if all 360 games were on pc it would still be worse then 360
sikanderahmed
What!?!?!? Multiplatform games are usually (like 95% of the time) bettter on PC. Even if the graphics are barely optimized for the PC, you still have higher resolutions, not limited to 30 or 60 FPS, more AA, mouse/keyboard, mods, $49.99 instead of $59.99 (and a few cases where the PC game is $39.99. Most recently Dark Void), and not having to pay to play online.
How can you possibly think that a console will get better games than PC?
What? Not sure I follow. What 2%?That 2% is what the majority of people plays, as opposed to the rest of the ENTIRE 360 library. Gxgear

seriously though good thread, some effort has been put into it.
Erm...lolwot?Arach666
He explained what he meant here:
There are 66 Xbox 360 exclusives + 38 PC+360 multi-platform games.(104)
There are 39 PS3 exclusives + 1 PS3+PC multi-plat.(40)
Doesn't get any simpler than that!

I was thinking the same thing that even if the same game was on console that the pc version would still be better.

Excellent thread, Stevo. PC/360 is easily the best 2-systems combo.

if anything this proves its not
Actually, if you look at the numbers. You get more games with a X360/PC combo.[QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"][QUOTE="HaxxySax_7777"]Point?HaxxySax_7777Cows are right in saying that the majority of Xbox 360 games can be found on PC. That's obvious. Why wouldn't Microsoft send it to the PC for extra profit from Windows sales? Either way, they're still games the PS3 doesn't have and the majority of people DO NOT -- I repeat -- DO NOT have high-end PCs. If they did, why even bother messin' around with the console slums?
I hate this obsessive/misinformed understanding that games on PC need to be run by 'high-end' pc. For people who would like to start gaming on PC, buy a tower (either pre-built or custom built) worth no more than £500.
Buy 5 games my list would be: Myth 2 (or any Myth), Deus Ex, Diablo 2 (or 1), Sanitarium and Theif (or Black and White). You will be sorted for at least a year. That price PC will play more games at adequate settings. Still should look better than the same games on 360.
To start PC gaming is just as easy as console gaming.

Started factoring in the decent games (A or better), only finished on the PS3 so far. X360 has way more reviewed games so it takes a bit longer to do. :P
