None, yet.
The Wii hardware itself isn't "revolutionary."
All they did was port arcade tech to the home console with some good first party exclusives to back them up.
Wii Sports does a great use of the controls
Trauma Center Second Opinion: It's so freakin' hard it actually makes you feel like you're operating someone
Metroid Prime 3: Hands down the best console controls for a FPS

and the 360 and ps3 are? all they did was port old computer tech, try to do too much of what pc's do and fail horribly at it.
Metroid Prime 3:Corruption. If you have not played it, you have no idea.briguyb13
It doesn't invent too much, it sticks to the original MP formula (which isn't a bad thing, it's an awesome thing, just not revolutionary). The controls are there of course, and they were qutie all right, but they would've come in the near future, with or without MP3.

1. the game has to be out yet
2. the game has to be Revolutionary, metroid prime has not added anything i have allready seen, therefore not revolutionary.
??? i seriously think the tc doesnt want to admit that there are rev. wii games.

I didn't say that the 360 and the PS3 are revolutionary.
I just said that the Wii isn't. :|

the wii also ported old computer tech, even older than the 360/ps3.
as for the wiimote it was allready used for certain computer applications
I have to agree with wiisports, and that's the only one really. Metroid Prime 3, maybe, I haven't finished it yet, but it is revolutionary in a few respects. A lot of wii games are like MP3 in that way too. Godfather, SSX, Madden, Trauma Center, and Monkey Ball all have some really new experiences but only in a few areas of the gameplay
Wiisports is100% new though
[QUOTE="irelevent"][QUOTE="marth678"]yup true wiisportsmarth678
wii sports added nothing new, it only used the technology on the wii, therefore not revolutionary.
so then how does any game become revolutionary...
well, i could point out katamari damacy, or the original zelda, guitar hero, and many others i could point outhowever i happen to be to lazy,

Yes, but the Wii doesn't try to be like the PC. Unlike certain consoles.

but neither of these games were the first, which means you fail.
[QUOTE="irelevent"]there isnt one that i have seen. could you try and show me one?Jrob2k8
i disagree, it's a valid argument imo. mp3 just sticks to the old formula on a new controller.

how? go look it up, i don't have time to argue with someone who can't properly draw the line between "market changing" and "same old gameplay"

Wii was only meant to be revolutionary in the controls and, in MP3, it is.
It is also in Wii Sports, Wii Play, RE4, Warioware, and a few more.

Market changing? That's not the definition of revolutionary :| With that kind of logic, GTA3 must be one of the most revolutionary games of all time.
Revolutionary means changed the way you play. The reason N64 was "revolutionary" was because it of the analog stick. With it, made games like Goldeneye, which changed the way we play shooters today. SM64 is revolutionary, it changed the way we play our platformers, yet it barely any impact on the market. It didn't make developers make more platformers, it was just the same people making the same platformers.
Wii Sports changes the way you play, and thus it's revolutionary.

Gta 3 was revolutionary.
n64 was awesome, but nintendo completely ruined it with the controler, no one has three hands, also the analog sticks we're cheap and became crusty after a year or 2. though i must agree with you n64 was the best console for about 2 years, until dreamcast came along. imho nintendo should'nt have told everyone in the whole world about the analog stick and how it worked, then maybe sony wouldnt have copied it so early and created an all around better controler.
I dont know why everybody is saying Wii sports, its not like its the only game to use motion controlls for a sports game.Shift05
It introduced an entirely new market to gaming.
Well... Super Paper Mario was the first game (or at least first platformer) to let the player switch between 2D and 3D... I think....
is that what you mean? >_>

...Wait, so the N64 is not revolutionary because it's not the best console ever (IYO). Someone stole the idea. And because it gets crusty?
GTA3 was revolutionary, I guess. But not revolutionary as SM64 or Zelda OoT. And neither of those were market changing.

oh come off it dude... The wii is the most revolutionary console out right now, and I don't even like the wii. I can promise you that the next wave of console will ALL have some sort of motion controls.

What new market?
There has been a market for sports games before Wii sports came out.
