[QUOTE="Messiahbolical-"]I have a feeling that Natal will cost as much as 3-4 controllers anyways.alexfla

The rumors are that MS will release a 360 slim with Natal for $299.

that I will buy. If however, other rumours which point to it costing $150 will be 'Bye Natal'

Amazons price for a Dualshock 3: $45

Knocking through your walls to increase living room space: >$45

doesn't it need like 4m of space? I live in Hong Kong and the land pricing here is sky high.....

Okay my opinion on Natal is that so far in confrence's open to media (Ie not scripted like last years E3 show where it was a video relay or an advertisment) I've yet to see the product do anything Ps Eye can't do with a firware update (Athlough I expect this years E3 Ms show to show features it wouldn't be capabile of). I mean the only game we'v seen as live demonstarations is the 'ricochet' game, and the Ps Eye is capabile of playing that game and infact already had many similar games on the Ps2.

I think after E3 we might no the degree of advancment in the tchnology and untill then everything that gets debated on system wars is both sides clutching at straws to justify there purchase and not a basis in fact.

My prediction is that people are going to start buying plastic Wii accessories to use while they play on the Natal. Golf, tennis, etc. feel awkward playing without something in your hands. Wasn't there something about Natal scanning in items so the camera registers it and you can use it? People can buy Perfect Shots then too. The lack of conventional input is seriously going to hurt Natal, and the fact that Move and Natal are both after-market add-ons, and potentially spendy ones, means that they're both going to fail.

Disadvantage- Playing games like this

Makes the Wiimote seem like a normal controller.

I think the kid in red realizes how retarded his family is.

***NATAL DISADVANTAGE*** No controller, so you can't have precise input.

:P

Pug-Nasty

It's not meant to replace the 360 controller. It's not like Move will be used to play U2 and MGS4.

The hardcore games will still be played with the standard controller.

But for the shovelware games then Natal is fantastic. The casuals will love it.

\natal could only play 2 players. This is a fact. And it is laggy to boot.

nhh18

That's incorrect. Natal works with up to 4 players.

"We can track up to four players in the same way we track controllers. Each individual player will be able to choose - do I want to bind with a controller, or do I want to bind with my body, or do I want to bind with both?"

Dead on perfect accuracy? Horse *$^# It's far from accurate if the videos we've seen are to be taken as the norm for what it can achieve. MOVE and Motion+ are not perfect either.

Why does everybody think that you wont need a controller? The way I see it being able to choose one, the other or both is what makes Natal so appealing... You could use a controller to do all the shooting and natal for hand jestures or victory dances.

Unless when it goes like "Natal has detected an unindentified person , if you wish him to join subscribe."

Lol jk/ but yeah it sure makes up for the rumoured price now that I come to think of it.

Has anyone actually seen Natal demoed with 4 people simultaneously. I can't recall it.

And before people mention the Parade Magazine youtube video, the two toddlers/children aren't actually playing.

Yes. It is purported that you'd be able to scan things in like wheels for driving games and skateboards.AncientDozer
But again this is something that has still only been seen in a promotional video at last E3, right?

To be frank, taking that promotional video at face value as an example of Natal's current capabilities, is essentially the same as deluding one self.

Well, you can get 3-4 brand new controllers for the price of Natal.

So....

But with the money you spend on Natal, you can buy nearly 3 controllers...

WiiMan21
And since the fourth is free.... :? Anyway this argument is full of fail. Natal is an add on, Wiimotes are standard controllers, they shouldn't be compared. If you really do want to compare them then include four standard Xbox controllers and four WM+ .... We'll see who has the higher price.
