Naughty Dog is a better developer than Microsofts entire 1st Party

Bungie isnt even exclusive to MS anymore. I cant wait for that exclusive Destiny content on PS4.... and for the world premiere of Bungie's DESTINY at the PS4 E3 conference.

I probably would have said that before this gen, but I don't think so now. Jak and Daxter was an amazing series, but Uncharted is kind of generic. Sure, the second game was mechanically a masterpiece, but the first and third games weren't that great imo. The Uncharted series as a whole doesn't have the originality that Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter had. The Last of Us looks good though, so maybe that will redeem them in my eyes. There have been a crapton of zombie games this gens, but the only one that had a good story was The Walking Dead, and that can barely be classified as a game. Hopefully TLOU will fix that.

Naughty Dog is the most overrated developer in system wars. But since this board is populated by such a large Sony fanboy community I'm not surprised. GoldenElementXL

Naughty Dog is widely considered one of the best developers in the world, certainly on a technical level and not just by gamers and industry groups but other developers as well.

They're enormously well-respected, you're fooling yourself if you think otherwise.

I don't know that I'd ever describe Naughty Dog as particularly original, taking Crash Bandicoot as an example it is in many ways a generic platformer with level design that I'd hardly even call 2.5D, but it was done extremely well.

Their concepts are typically well-worn, but they do them to perfection and almost always have. Heck, Uncharted 3 was considered a disappointment by many and was still a very solid game that received rave reviews. It should tell you something when their disappointments are still great games.

ND are def. among the best there is in the industry, but 343 are talented as hell (I mention them because they come to mind first). I wouldn't outright say they're worse than ND, because they don't have a deep enough track record to compare in my eyes. ND has pedigree and consistency!
