[QUOTE="jedigemini"] Top 5 excuses
1. Sales dont matter! ...
even though historically speaking the best selling console has always nabbed the lions share of software support
Fortenium
Yeah, and I find it hilarious when they later say, "Oh, the PS3/360 is winning because of sales and Wii sucks lololol!"
2. The Wii is a fad!...
wow this apparant fad is starting to span out for a pretty damn long time.... any of you starting to get uncomfortable that ... perhaps... it's not a fad? lol
jedigemini
I still don't get how the Wii is considered to be a fad by fanboys...
3. It's just because the Wii is cheaper!...
even though with the PS3/360's higher price, comes more powerful hardware (ie; better graphics, online, multi-media features ect) should justify the cost of their consoles -- making them just as worthy a purchase as the Wii... looks like consumers didnt agree

Nintendo reaches out to non-gamers, as well. Games like Brain Age and Wii Sports are made so that anyone from your younger sibling to your grandma can play. Hardcore gamers go for the good stuff, which non-gamers will stay away from. That is partially why Nintendo is getting high sales.
4. Teh Wii's games and graphics suck, have fun with your mario rehash!
Graphics have never won a console war, and your opinion on its games are subjective.
jedigemini
Exactly. This is THE biggest excuse I have seen. Graphics don't really matter. Sure, it's nice to have eye candy when you play, but graphics don't make the game. If there was a Barney game with awesome graphics, would it instantly be considered good? I asked that to some friends who said graphics are all that matter in a game and they got mad.
5. I don't care!!!
Then what are you doing in systemwars?
jedigemini
Haven't seen this yet.
I'm not a fanboy (I love all three consoles a lot), but I am getting tired of repetitive excuses you listed. It's like they don't even mean it now.
I dont think they anything to say in response... they seem to be at a loss for words in this thread.any takers?
