Which is better for Netflix, Wii or PS3? I don't care about resolution, I care more about the speed and not buffering. And finally which menu is best and can hold more in que?

I think it is really enjoyable on the Wii. I have yet to try it on PS3 but I will when I get a PS3.

i have it for ps3 and 360 only but my guess is that the ps3 and wii versions are identical since they are the ones that require a disc to make it work.

just order both operations discs and see for yourself since you can run multiple devices.

instant Q and reciently watched is shared across all devices.

netflix is the best 10 bucks i spend each month.

that's strange to me, the way my ps3 and 360 works is that the resolution is determined by avalible bandwidth not the device that it is on.

sometimes my resolution changes from hd to lower res when i lose bandwidth then goes back to hd when the bandwidth goes back up.

I wouldn't even bother with Netflix. The instant selection sucks with hardly any good movies except 20 year old ones. The only thing working for it is the TV series selection which is pretty good.

I saw someone else using Wii Netflix and the controls seemed fiddly to me.

I have both and I have to say the Wii interface is better than the PS3. Also, on a number of movies, the audio and video become out of sync on the PS3, doesn't happen a lot, but the same movies are fine on the Wii, YMMV.

PS3 is the only one of the three that includes search. No need to go to your PC to ad to your queue. I like the use of the wii mote on the wii's interface. The xbox interface is the prettiest of the three, but it doesn't work any better. Because of the search feature I'd go with PS3.

prefer it on the xbox. Interface is less clunky on the 360 compared to the PS3.

On Oct 14th Netflix for PS3 will be on the XMB instead of on a disc. This will be great. I have a Wii and PS3 I use the PS3 for movies, as it looks and runs better on PS3. The Wii is OK, but if you want the best go with PS3.

TC didn't ask about 360 vs PS3. They asked Wii vs PS3 didn't they. You're off topic!

Thanks everyone. I have netflix on wii and am extremely happy with it, but I am considering a ps3 also (to use on a second tv) and just wanted to know if a ps3 would be okay or should I buy another wii for the kids to play in their room.

For what its worth, you can always stream it on your PC too. The 360, PS3 and Wii Netflix services are all equally solid and a great value. The selection's pretty good and there's a lot of interesting gems out there that you may have missed out on. King of Kong, Timer, Better Off Ted, and Dead Like Me all come to mind.

Yeah, I haven't tried it on PS3, but 360 definitely uses the resolution that'll play smoothest based on one's connection and same for Wii (my sister ordered a disc for my Wii before she knew we had crappy 1.5 Mbps internet lol). I tried them both out, and both downscale, though not enough for my connection to stream them smoothly.

I prefer the layout on the wii netflix interface better (motion controls imho just make things flow faster) but I think the PS3 one overall is the better service

Yeah, but I'm guessing that since the Wii can't output HD it probably doesn't try to buffer in HD.
