About time, now I can get a 360, hopefully it'll be much more reliable than the older editions.

The next step for them to do is axe the core.

its too bad M$ didnt put alot of time into making a high quality system, the manufacture prosses is very cheap, but then again, when do you buy hardware from a software company.

blackace

Or software from a hardware company like Sony.

Sony is not just a hardware company. Movies, games, consumer electronics, music. Sure justa hardware company.

MS is not just a software company. Except their hardware up to the Xbox has consisted of keyboards and mice.

Captain obvious to the rescue...

Of course the HDMI won't be included in the Xbox 360s that have already been shipped or sold, one doesn't have to be Einstein to figure that out; Al Bundy is sufficient :|

Adrian_Cloud

LMAO. Best lines I've read today.

Both failed to realise the new chip model has been out since july, thus proving my point. You guys are really oblivious.

They haven't been out since July, they were manufactured in July...

Correct! With the 65mm Chip and shouldn't get as hot either. Less heat in the system will be less problems.

blackace

If over heating was the main problem in the first place... could be something else in the 360 which gives it problems.

[QUOTE="rexoverbey"]Haha no more excuses for cows. Quieter, cheaper, better lirbrary, more reliable, better online, all have HDMI. Bam!Adrian_Cloud

more reliable? and all still don't have hdmi...and in canada its the same price as PS3 :|

wth are you talking about?

they will all have HDMI with the next shipments. IF indeed these are the Falcon models, then they will be more reliable because of 65nm, and the Elite is the same price as PS3 after the price drop.

No reason for people to wait any longer on buying a 360 if these are indeed the Falcon-based systems.

Just got my replacement 360 two days ago after a red light fiasco, and it is definitely a different machine! It sounds completely different, not near as loud, especially the DVD drive. It does seem to run a little cooler than the lauch box I had as well. Thank goodness they just gave me a new model instead of a refurb!

65nm makes it more reliable and smaller die than PS3. Which should run extremely cool. Second it would still have a 3 year warranty even the improved model. Third there is a $100 pricedrop in Canada it is not the same price as PS3. Fourth as previously stated ALL SKUs will have HDMI from this point on.

I'm going to wait until they clear out all the 90nm 360s before actually going out and buying one.

PS2 had no where near the reliability problems of the 360.
