Looks amazing, but I won't play it within the next few years. Building a gaming PC is too expensive, which sucks with all the awesome PC games coming out. Blizzard was my saviour with their undemanding games, but Activision got them.
Ubisoft? What does Ubisoft have to do with The Witcher 2?Looking good, unfortunately it will probably end up being ruined from Ubi's broken "always connected" DRM anti-piracy measures.

There's ways to bypass that. ;) Not condoning it, I'm just saying a legitimately purchased game doesn't have to be ruined by the DRM.
I've gotten so used to graphics thread that im surprised someone hasn't posted a crysis pic :P

I would say it beats it. You?[QUOTE="Rekunta"]Ubisoft? What does Ubisoft have to do with The Witcher 2? Yeah, Atari (Publisher of The Witcher) said they were looking into an always-connected DRM like Ubisofts; CD Projekt Red said they do not like DRM at all, and would like to only have an activation check and that's it, but he acknowledged that the choice wasn't theirs to make ultimately. Let's hope Atari aren't dumb.Looking good, unfortunately it will probably end up being ruined from Ubi's broken "always connected" DRM anti-piracy measures.

Atari is only the distributor for the game in North America. Which means that they actually don't have control over it.
Also, it was Namco Bandai(who is the distributor in Western Europe) that made the statement regarding always connected DRM. Still, Namco actually do not have the final say since they were merely signed on as Distributors of the game(think of the situation with Valve and EA. EA has absolutely no control over any decisions regarding the game, they just handle the retail distribution of the game). Namco may influence decisions, and we may see it in the game in an effort to maintain a strong relationship with them, but I think that it is more likely that we won't see it happen.
