New Battlefield game to be annouced!

Cousins stated that it's not Battlefield Assault and in fact, a whole new Battlefield title all together.

I hope it's 2143 also. I know it wasn't as popular as BF2 but I loved firefights inside a titan and the drop pods rocked. We already know that BF3 is in development.

My guess sadly is that it will be another BF like BF heroes.

I seriously hope that Bad Company 3 doesnt have singleplayer at all. When getting a Battlefield game, i prefer lots of mp maps and modes over a crappy singleplayer campaign and just a few mp maps any day. :twisted:

yeah, that would be cool. But they should update some mechanics, like they need to put in VOIP and the squad system.

I would love if someone ported over the Desert Combat mod as well.

They should take enough time to polish the game this time around, and launch with enough servers to support the game.

I'm hoping for a new futuristic Battlefield and not Bad Company 3, because I didn't enjoy BC2 or BF2 as much as 2142.

Edit: A remake of 1942 would be nice too; 1943 didn't feel like a good sequel to me.

It's possible that they're effectively developing two separate games, but I've got very little faith in this being the case.

Bad Company 3 has the most possible chance, but I want something like BF 2142, or 2143 as a sequel, and it better have bots, most BF games had bots in them, odd how MC, 1943 and BC1 and 2 didn't have them.

It's going to be something free I bet, like BF Heroes but not as bad and hopefully first person. They did register a few web names that did include "Battlefield" and "free" in them after all.

Battlefield should be PC only. Bad Company is a fine multi-plat
