Gears was a third person shooter that was released way before COD4, and is more tactical rather than run and gun so you can't really compare that.

Killzone I understand.

Halo, not so sure. Halo is looking better and better the more I see it. It's gameplay looks pretty superb.

COD4 looks like a must buy still. But not after I buy most of my other top priority games.

As impressive as that was, I'm still trying to pick my jaw up after the Mass Effect videos.

I think killzone 2 looks at least just as good. Though they're all in their early dev stages so not the best of times to be judging...

1.) I never saw Friday After Next. :P as such, I assume they stole it from somewhere else. Where I'm from, we use that phrase to describe food that tastes a-typically good. :)

2.) One complaint noboby had about Call of Duty 2 was the gameplay. It will be excellent, I'm sure. I look forward to seeing more of the weapons, though.

is it just me or did that show nothing new in tersm of gameplay whatsover. In fact the bloke playing hardly fired his gun, it was more like a tech demo , watching your team mates do it. Dont get me wrong its graphics are stunning but gameplay? seriously point me to a bit of gameplay that excites you in that vid.jt8b2z

Not really...ESPECIALLY if you're in a joint covert-op. In fact, if you're in one of those, you're ENCOURAGED to take out your opponent if he doesn't suspect a thing. British SAS and Russian Spetsnaz have done just that on a number of occasions.

That poor man he has no legs!!!! Why does (pretty much) all FPS has the character lacking legs, it isn't that big of a deal, but just one of those annoying things.
