YEah if you think washed out textures and only using grey as a colour owns COD4 you got serious problems. Be happy , you got both. If COD 4 would be optimised for the 360 only and it would run at 30 FPS it would destroy killzone 2.

Did you watch the vid ? COD4 was amazing in comparison to killzone. Killzone looks very similar to F.E.A.R. Probly doesn't play much better either.

Um i have watched all the vids and it looks like a better looking call of duty 2 in a new setting. That is the truth, there is nothing remotely new or exciting about its gameplay. Sure it will be a blast and i will probably get it ( on pc, so it will look even nicer by the way, just thought i would rub that in, seen as that seems to be all you care about)for a quick fix. Nothing more.

COD4 Looks amazing. Makes mebelieve the 360 could do Killzone if MS didn't screw up with the DVD9. I know swapping discs isnt that big of a deal. It doesn't bother me a bit, but when you have a game like Killzone where the first level alone is 2GB,DVD9 becomes somewhat of an issue, too much compressed data= screen tearing. But nontheless COD4 looked AMAZING. Can't wait for this, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Heavenly Sword, Drakes Fortune and Too Human.xxxWigginsxxx

That level in Killzone is actually the start of the 3rd level in the game according to one dev interview I read. I saw a vid of Killzone with more extended play where you see one of those drop thingy land right in front of you with the dust blowing out then you see the troops jump off and it looked really awesome. And here you actually see the guy playing the game on stage, while G4 messed up

The COD2 gameplay does not work in modern times. If you did that you would die a million times. They could have atleast talked to some people thar have been in iraq to give them some ideas of how these firefights go on. Not just guns blazing running up to enemies and shooting them. It all seemed very fake. It looks fun to play but they should not be using COD2 and 3 gameplay. It doesnt work in modern times.Killfox

Back then it probably was more comman because honor was more important. More people were willing to give up there life for there freedom. Thats not how people are now a days. Were not fighting for are freedom anymore. Were fighting because someone told us to. ANyways, if your going to make a modern game it has to feel modern. Not freaking halo. Which is what i got out of the gameplay in some spots. When does modern warfare not mean tactics??? If we werent using tactics we would be losing the war in iraq. Unless you like killing yourself thats fine by me. I want some sense of realism. Hmm now does this make sence to you.

I actually love games like that. Its nice to feel like your part of a team in a real army doing a job and not a super soldier who has to do everything.
