Looks like yet another overly cinematic game that favours flash over substance... there is really too much of this kind of stuff now... I wouldn't mind it so much if this kind of game didn't outsell and outscore most other games on the market.

Take no russian for example, how did they get in with those guns? And why did russia go to war to america for just that? BF3 isnt supposed to be a grand scale story about nukes and the kidnapping of the russian prime minister (read kotaku's leaked MW3 story about that) its about the military. Pretty much. I have absolutely zero hype for the BF3 singleplayer and co-op. Honestly, I have yet to enjoy a shooter campaign. EDIT: Actually, I liked Metroid Prime, RE4 and Red Dead Redemption a lot, but I don't think most people would count those.

Looks like it will be a solid 5 hour or so campaign. If it has coop for the campaign that's a plus. Spec Ops never did anything for me, as I preferred Zombies. What I've seen of MW3 and what I've played of the BF3 beta, it looks like MW3 will be the more polished game. That doesn't mean better, and I'm sure that MW3 will have tons of lag problems just like all the other CoDs since CoD4.

LOL! That was a hilarious read. That's the thing about those campaigns. The story isn't even mediocre. It's really, really bad. How anyone is immersed into the story is beyond me. The Sledgehammer president says people are emotionally invested in the characters. XD Dear COD fans, I thought the trailer looked good even though every one that preceded it looked horrible.
Not as good as the MW2 trailer with Eminem. BF3 trailer is better. So it's somewhere in between. LOL now we are arguing about trailers. :lol: As far as MW3 mulitplayer is concerned, I'm excited to see this whole concept of "customzing 4 your playstyle". Let's see if it turns out to be as advertised.
The COD franchise has excellent campaigns. I've enjoyed them all from first to latest. Call of Duty 2 was amazing at the time.LustForSoul
I was really impressed when I saw it for the first time, but it was the first time I had seen a 360 game. I played King Kong around the same time and that was even more impressive.
The music chords sound exactly like BF3 :/ Looks alright to me, just like every other CoD game. Wonder if the backlash will overcome the sales from casuals - my guess is no.
