Have you never played Europa Universalis? The series will bore you rigid, to the point that you'll find literally anything else to occupy your time than play another moment. Like literally... ANYTHING.

I'll probably get it, but most likely not at launch. The first one was fun, but the enemy variety, including the bosses wasn't great. Anyone calling GoW a movie game doesn't have a clue what they're talking about though, and I don't stan for this franchise.

I always thought that the enemies variety and especially the recycled bosses was in the game because Sony wasn't sure about how the reboot would do. The budget for gow2018 was most likely not that big, but now that they hit the jackpot, i expect gow2 much much better in that department.

I would guess that's probably the criticism they heard the most in any case, so yeah, I'm hoping this game is way better in that regard. The first one was still able to pull off some memorable encounters like with the valkyries and the late game ambushes to the devs' credit.

Yea, enemy variety was one of my gripes about the original too.

Yes I played the best experience of GoW on PC. Although I uninstalled it after an hour not into movie games.

Looks phenomenal. Like a true 9.5/10 game. Shame it releases in the 10/10 Elden Ring's shadow.
