This game looks very promising. Visually, it's one of the best on Wii. Hopefully the gameplay lives up to what High Voltage has been saying. I will likely be in line for it on June 23rd.
The game looks hideous "How can mankind fight a war, with such poor geometry and textures?" :lol: The voice acting sounds horrific as does the plot. I was going to make a joke about mediocrity but this is just plain ****. The game is going to be poor, you can quote me on that.

It is possible to determine a certain level of quality simply by watching videos of gameplay. With LKS, that level is undoubtedly high. I'm not quite ready to make a judgment on The Conduit. I hate making negative judgments about a game without actually playing it. If you want to be taken seriously, I would recommend actually addressing the criticisms Haziq leveled at The Conduit rather than just insulting one of his hyped games which has no relevance to the thread. So: how is The Conduit different than any other shooter out this generation?

I am - but the game has not been called simplistic or kiddy by most reviews - plus this isn't about LKS or bashing a game that I'm looking forward to - its about The Conduit - and my point is very valid - it looks generic and you haven't made much of an argument against it.
Who honestly thinks this game will be good any more? Compared to every other shooter i have seen hyped this generation none has looked less promising. This is slipping below HAZE in my expectations of it pre-launch. It just looks poor compared to everything else.
You know what's weird about The Conduit? The more I see of it, the less I like it. At first I wanted to get it on day one, but now I'm questioning if I'll get it at all.
That looks god awful. Seriously, I haven't seen anything that makes me want to play The Conduit. The story sounds lame, the voice acting in that trailer was horrible, the gunplay looks dull, and the graphics are ugly...even for a Wii game. High Voltage failed when they tried to compete with HD FPS games...they should have went for an art style that was unique and interesting.
Those visuals are horrible, so many jaggies I can't even stand it.
This looks bad and even for a Wii game, I've seen Wii games and even Gamecube games that look better then this. Heck it can't even surpass Halo 2 which itself wasn't a graphic beast back then.
I hope the gameplay saves it for me or otherwise I'm simply not getting that game.
Notheydon't Not defending The Conduit, but he said "in general", so he acknowledges that there are some exceptions. 3 which are a exception. Now compare that to the general scale of FPS out upon all Consoles and that number is like a piddle in the sea.
