And the first proper 360 screenshot:

It is a great looking game, but after watching more and more footage, no way the console versions match Killzone 2 or 3. PC is another story, of course. It is still my most anticipated shooter of the year, though. I don't understand all of the compaints about it looking boring at all. Looks fun as hell to me.
anybody else REALLY hate the constant use of stutter effect or whatever in the trailer? god that got old
Wow the 360 truly is tap out such a shame . good thing they're a ps3 version .
chronocross668
What do you want to bet they will be pretty much the same, give or take some minor aliasing and texture work which could really go either way? The PC is where this game will truly shine on the visual front.
Nice stealth trolling there.
But, here are screencaps that I did of a direct feed rather than a stream.
Some screencaps
That certainly looks awful./sarcasm
yeah those are from a video stream too as hinted by video control bar on the bottom.Nice stealth trolling there.

still you shouldnt pass them off as direct feed. and seconde this is less blurry than the first?
The only thing I hate is the Marine models. :( They look like Far Cry 1 quality. Everything else looks fantastic.

Motion blur. Crysis 2 has it. The stream online has noticable artifacting that isn't present in the video that I downloaded.
The video wasn't a stream. I just screencapped a direct feed video. if you want to download it, here you go
[QUOTE="KarateeeChop"]Yes, yes it does.and people say kz3 looks better than this?

Killzone 3 definitely does things better then Crysis 2, like character models, animations and stuff, but I think Crysis 2 wins on lighting and scale. Both look amazing though. :o

No... no it does not.
You can keep telling yourself that it does, but you wouldn't be correct. From a purely technical perspective, Crysis 2 ****s all over KZ3.
Specifically if you go into 3D when Crysis 2 is still going to be rendering 1280x720 images, whereas KZ3 has to get bumped down to dual 640x720 images.
[QUOTE="KarateeeChop"]Yes, yes it does. Stop the trollzors. First of all prove it does.and people say kz3 looks better than this?

ok why dont you go into your downloaded video and take the exact same screenshot as the OP did and then blow my mind with how blurry it is.[QUOTE="KingsMessenger"]

ok why dont you go into your downloaded video and take the exact same screenshot as the OP did and then blow my mind with how blurry it is. It's the console version what did you expect? Textures can easily be fixed in the PC version but lighting and scale is harder to change. Obviously Crytek's got those two down.[QUOTE="KingsMessenger"]

ok why dont you go into your downloaded video and take the exact same screenshot as the OP did and then blow my mind with how blurry it is.The image isn't blurry. It just is not representative of what the rest of the game looks like. It has one bad looking part. And that is because of a placeholder asset.
You want me to find the ATROCIOUS KZ3 box pictures that look downright embarassing?
Both games are still in Alpha.
My point was, the video itself is not nearly as good as the actual direct feed download because of streaming constraints. You want to actually watch the video, then download it instead of watching a crappy stream.
Edit - Also, keep in mind that photobucket is compressing my images.

If they are aiming for Crysis 1 kind of scale, then Crysis 2 for consoles will probably be the best technical feat ever accomplished. I don't think it's possible though. :P

basically this... I mean PC is really where it's at if you want the highest fidelty graphic wise.. and arguably control wise as you can almost always link it up to your PC... however consoles has the one advantage that just about every commercial PC doesn't have... all games designed for that SYSTEM is meant to work on it the first time without issue... granted that hasn't always been the case but that is due more to the game then it is with the hardware of the console... the 360 and PS3 squabbling is tiresome, and regardless of whoever here is gonna tout that extra 100 polygons or minor aliasing proves that 360/PS3 version is better need to be concerned about more important things. I mean the argument was valid when like multi platform games on the PS3 looked noticeably 'worse' like for instance Lost Planet (i've played it on both systems and personally think the 360 version is significantly better).. but now arguements over whether Batman Arkham, Red Dead Redemption, Final Fantasy 13, Saboteur... sigh the list goes on... Like i said in terms of multi-platform games the differences are so minut that to make a big deal out of it is just really silly...What's up Laughing Octopus[QUOTE="Couth_"]

im not talking about that, im talking about how he is passing off the the quality of a screen captured from a stream looks like utter crap compared to one from a downloaded video(and passing those off as direct feed). By his logic this is a direct feed shot of uncharted 2, it was captured from a downloaded movie.

Killzone 3 owns crysis 2 and gs agrees, check the best of e3 award :D

What are you referring to?

GS picked GT5 over everything for graphics.

I find that funny considering how well the 360 version of Rage looks (which does look better than Crysis 2).Wow the 360 truly is tap out such a shame . good thing they're a ps3 version .

The download of the video was clearly a direct feed version of it. Photoshack does compress images, which is causing some of the loss.
Trust me, just download the video from fileshack. Even better looking than the images I posted. It is 400MB though.

Really? because neither of the games won best graphics. And Crysis 2 is currently winning the reader's choice.
