crysis MP footage looks beast as all hell. holy crap, this is going to give the other FPS a run for their money.
[QUOTE="Sollet"]This is not... ugh why am I bothering. Anyways looks OK even it isn't...Espada12
Watch through it. It's better than what they showed live.
No it's not that mate, it's that this isn't really 360 footage, this is running on a PC, they had a bunch of PC's hooked up at gamescom and was demonstrating the mp aspect of the game.[QUOTE="Espada12"][QUOTE="Sollet"]This is not... ugh why am I bothering. Anyways looks OK even it isn't...Sollet

Killstreaks confirmed :(. Espada12At least you need to collect dog tags ala BC2 to be able to pull them off. Means it won't get spammed to death. :\

They have both PC and 360s set up.It looks boring as hell, I wish it wasnt so staged so we could actually see what its supposed to look like.

Here's some real gameplay from the PC version:

The lighting is very realistic for an alpha version of multiplayer in 360p

Ah really? so you need to get melee kills for them?
Not sure if it's just melee or all kills in general, but you have to physically pick up the dog tags, so getting kills with the gunship won't add to your kill streak unless you go find the dead bodies pick up the dog tags.I must becoming jaded in my old age because FPS really don't get me excited any more. :( I mean the graphics look okay and the gameplay seem to be kinda fun but every shooter is pretty much the same these days.
Gameplay has always reminded me of cod, but just slower pace. I do like the game play in Crysis its just that it got boring after a while.

I thinks it if you do a specialized kill like Melee or Headshot that they drop dog tags.looks ok. THey need to fix the spawns I noticed, which I'm sure they will. I counted 2 dudes that spawned right in front of him. killerfist
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think those were enemies coming out of stealth. Anyways, this game looks outstanding for consoles.

WilliamRLBaker
good thing it supports the 360 pad for PC. I'd say it's the PC version, considering there is some kb/mouse footage floating around and it looks exactly the same graphically.

ewww, people die WAY too easily. it's like MW. gross.

i still want to see the PC version on decent settings, so far its just been a big dissapointment from crysis 1I honestly think they are trying to tone it down and make something more playable for everyone. better optimization, lower requirements. they want more people to play and enjoy their game. which is not good for people like us.
As I posted in the other thread about this... This is not the 360 version. Watch this VIDEO and you can see the PCs and the keyboards in front of all 10 people playing the game. Sorry to ruin it for you man.

argh! where's the link or quote to confirm that the video from the OP is of the 360 version?
like you said, it's the pc version with gamepads.

and again, i ask, where's the link or quote to say that it is running on the 360?
developers would use 'the best' to promote a game.
in the case of Crysis 2, the guys at Crytek would be using the pc version to promote c2.
in addition, why do you think there's so many graphically enhanced trailers and bull-shots for games?
So the 360 version is pretty amazing looking, can't wait to see the PC version. Other than that, the MP looks like it will keep me busy. millerlight89
that IS the pc version, according to the link provided by another gamespoter.

most likely on a config equivalent to the 360, if that was the PC version on any decent settings it is a big downgrade from the original.[QUOTE="dethroned3"][QUOTE="millerlight89"]So the 360 version is pretty amazing looking, can't wait to see the PC version. …in a minute. You see, I was just raving talking about the PC version. I also managed to get some time in with the Xbox 360 version of the multiplayer level… and when played on Microsoft's console it's a very different story. The Xbox version looks markedly worse than the (admittedly top-end) rigs that EA set up, and it simply couldn't muster anywhere near as much grunt. A washed-out colour palette, jaggier edges and noticeably compressed texturing undoes much of Crytek's good work. Don't get me wrong, it still looks good for an Xbox 360 title- but it does highlight the need for Microsoft to consider upgrading to the next generation sooner rather than later to stay in the game. On the plus side, I much preferred playing on the 360 thanks to my console bias and Halo-honed skills- and the air combat was a lot more fun thanks to the immediacy that a controller brings to a table.

No, if that was the PC version on highest settings it is a decent downgrade from Crysis 1 graphics, even the multiplayer. Thats why im saying that that footage must be from a PC configured to run it at the 360 specs. im not only dissapointed in the graphics, it seems they are making the multiplayer into Call of Nanosuit: Future Warfare 2.[QUOTE="dethroned3"]
