All the shots i see of crysis 2 looks like its played at a really low res with added AA for screenshots.

Looks cool but I expect the textures to be better on PC if Crytek has any dignity.

Besides each screen being tinted by a blueish fog, those pics look pretty good.

hmmm. I doubt that is consoles, but for the console graphics king battle it's going to be an all out war between this and killzone 3 :)

He just said the shots looked blurry, and I said well of course they will, there's per object motion blur, so obviously it's going to look blurry in screens. Oh, and those... not console shots. Probably not even maxed on PC. With full DirectX11 and Nvidia's help, it's going to look even better.

Right now modded stalker clear sky looks more impressive to me, especially in the texture department.

Yup.These are definitely not maxed out PC shots.Only known high settings PC video is 3D trailer,and it blows this shots away but those are good to :D

No not really.Its just that more textures equals higher budget.And there is hell of a lot stuff to texture in Crysis games,thats the most expensive part of development.But hey...we got mods and everything else in Cryengine 3 just blows the competition.Crazy Germans... :D

Vanilla pripyat is really rough around the edges. Modded clear sky though looks better on almost all fronts to vanilla crysis, and these crysis 2 shots in my opinion.

Yeh, that shot looks more like what I expect a Cryengine game to look like (new shots have an 'unreal vibe' to them). Of course the nanosuit isn't in-game, but everything else looks totally in-line with what a PC can do. Either way, modders will get in there and fix the crap textures.
