Do realize that by compressing the picture it creates jaggies? Also if those are actually a product of the game itself and not the screenshot they probably won't be noticeable when actually playing the game. Gears has a lot of jaggies, but unless you sit still and really look for them they are not noticeable. Everything else in the picture looks great.

What's so fascinating about all this damage control from the hermits it that it proves they are still mortified by GEARS OF WAR and how it set a graphical benchmark that no PC game has exceeded. This picture is still less than Gears level even with 8billionXAA. Great work TC.JiveT

I suppose the Gears pictures smell better? Because you're certainly not observing these pictures with you eyes.

Nope, these are screenshots, that was taken at a native monitor Resolution, when resized from its native resolution it will indeed distort wether its bigger or smaller.

This is going to be ahorrible generation for hermits. that is how most of us are going see the game. When it had good graphics it was running of a bunch of geforce 7900s. sad really.downPlayDemon

First off, I don't think the TC understands about the resizing thing. We aren't claiming YOU resized it, it has already been resized. If it doesn't fit on my entire screen, then it's not full-sized, hence the reduced quality.

Secondly, considering how old this screen is, I really don't see how any "downgrade" is "confirmed," when you also consider the multitude of other Crysis screens both older and newer that look better.

Thirdly, even as-is, it still looks good.

Fourthly, damage control? :lol: When somebody starts spouting BS, and somebody else says 'That's BS," that's not not damage control, kids.

Fifthly, just because Gears has been stuffed to the brim with Bloom doesn't mean it's as technically impressive as many seem to think it is.

You can blow away trees and entire buildings in Crysis, not to mention making holes in the terrain if you have a powerful enough weapon. NamelessPlayer

There is no terrain deformation in Crysis. It could probably be done quite easily considering the enginehas that voxel tool, but Cevat Yerli has said that the terrain will not deform.

Also, people should stop judging Crysis with this screenshot. It is very old! There have been countless improvements since this screenshot was taken.

Jaggies? clueless kids, with a computer you adjust what AA settings you want, newer videocard = higher AA settings meaning no Jaggies. consoles you cant fix that issue. faster computer = no jaggies.
