Just looking at those makes my wallet hurt.
Before PCers start screaming, my PC is a dell inspiron laptop with 512mb ram and a 128mb integrated graphics card. It has trouble running WoW in some areas. Best case senario is I drop $1300 on a new laptop and hope for the best that the integrated card it comes with can run the game.
You can get a PC that will run crisis for about $1300+$300 for a monitor. 360+HDTV = $400+$1000. $200 more gets you alot of difference.
BTW i own a 360 and love it don't hurt me.
I'll have another job by time crysis comes out and then I can build be an All new system to play this.
Consoles can't touch this.Marka1700
Neither can some of the best PCs... I heard they fried more then a few puters tech demoing this, not to take anything away from it, incredible, incredible... Just these graphics wont be the norm or even really within the grasp of most consumers until the next set of consoles. Totally cool to see what we'll be gaming like 4-7 years down the road though.
I have some question. Is everything in Crysis completely distructable? How long is Crysis?

Crysis: 2002 CGI movies...
I can bet that Crysis will murder that fake CGI Killzone video...and that says something...

A 360 does not have anywhere near as much dedicated ram to even be able to render all the destructible enviroments and physics. They would have to add intermitent loading or cut up the levels. That kind of kills what the original was intending to be anyway.[QUOTE="Marka1700"]Consoles can't touch this.Mancow_wrestler

That is true, when you render less, and the only problem ram is out, all those Crysis shows can be done on 360 easilly

Hate to break it to you, 8500 cant max games already out, nevermind Crysis.

If it is DX9 it doesn't mean consoles can do it, remember DX9 is more hardware intensive than DX10. Fact is consoles cant max the DX9 render, low-med is posible.I wish they would release a demo just so alot of us could see how it would run on our PC's.
I have a half decent PC with a 8800GTX and i would like to see how it will run.
