New Demons Souls review

The reason I love this game so much is that, it takes so much effort to beat the game through one playthrough (I've gotten to new game+++++ since I've started) but it seems like the type of game that only the people who are persistent will see how amazing the ending of the game is (CGI, Story, Events). I feel as if not many people are going to see the end and I feel privledged to have been able to make it that far. Those are the kinda games I like :>

As for reviews, I see many mainstream sites like gamespot giving it a low score due to difficulty, however, I have a feeling IGN might know what's up and might rate it pretty high (7.5-8.5ish).

I will get this on day one, but it sounds like it will take me forever to beat, and i know i am going to get very frustrated, but yet i cant wait for the game.

Anyone else seeing GS knocking some points off for being too hard?

What makes the 360 worth $300 + $50 per month per ID, $100 to add WiFi, $200 to add a HD Movie player, $15 per controller to make it rechargable etc. The PS3 gives you $700 worth of hardware for $400 and free online to boot.

And since a lot of games follow the trend of going Xbox 360 first, and then PC, I don't like waiting so I just have that option available

Sorry, I don't like this game. It's just a chore to play. Glad others do, though.

I'm not surprised, I just don't believe he imported it.

every time someone imports the game there's many things that need clearing up since there's no english manual. Like world and character tendencies and how to upgrade weapons/invest stats/how to get to 1-3. Never seen him once on the demon's souls forum and the only real reason I can see this game being a chore is you can't button mash or rush through like many action-rpgs...you have to be strategic with each type of enemy.

Good review, this game certainly deserves it. Definitely the most satisfying game to play so far this gen.

It looks awesome but it wont get AAAA here at Gamespot.

Wish I still had my PS3. I sold it to help pay for my beast of a PC!

I never heard of this site so i take it with a grain of salt.

Just bought it for $46 with shipping and handling...I can't wait until I get to play this rpg.

itll score A-AA tops on gamespot. Its a good game, i wouldnt say the best rpg this gen, but a good one at least. not much in ways of customizing your character, and all the classes end up being the same in the end. Difficulty ranges from stupidly easy to insanely difficult, very noticable when you go against the bosses, as some are complete cakewalks and others you have to almost get lucky to beat. not a big fan of the online system they have, being able to see how people died is cool and stuff, but when you are playing and someone breaks into your game and kills you or makes you waste time, you start to get tired of it.mtradr43

You get invaded a lot? Im at the end of new game+ and have been invaded a total of 4 times. 2 of which ended in /bow and the invader suiciding after 15-20min long fights of back and forth.

yea i must have got a little lucky or something, I also think world 4 is the most likely for you to be invaded. other then part of world 3 (for obvious spoilerific reasons). I could see it getting annoying it it happened a lot though and I'd just play offline for awhile though. I can't really put a finger on why, but this is one of those rare games that slows my plat trophy whoring habit.:lol:
