Humans aren't the only species that can be Husk-ified.

ME3 begins with Earth's assault by the Reapers, and things don't look so good, but there's something that is a silver lining, that makes it look like it's actually possible to not lose against the reapers .

TIM has sent his top agents to take down Shepard, The combat is going to be much harder and melee attacks are going to have more focus.

Shooting specific armor parts can have certain effects, and the AI of the enemies will have them routing Shepard and will coordinate with each other

Battlefields are going to be a great deal larger, and combat will be very varied.

Enemy Weapons can be PICKED UP. Soldiers can carry all kinds of weapons, and other ****s understandably less so.

There is a larger skill tree and RPG aspects are going to be more integrated.

Weapon Modding is a greenlight, with things like barrels and scopes

Modding your weapons will vastly affect their appearance and how they function in battle

So far the CONFIRMED SQUADMATES are: Ashley/Kaiden, Liara, Garrus, and James Sanders who is mentioned is an Alliance Marine

Species Loyalty cannot only get obtained via Quests

Levels will have ladders

Available Squadmates will still maintain a balance, if per say Garrus had not survived ME2's events

ME1's Decisions such as sparing the Rachni will have a grave impact in ME

There's no railroad to the end of the game, there are multiple paths to take back Earth

http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/103/index/7021128/1

This game looks unbelievable. Never thought they could improve so much on ME2.

I'm really torn on which platform I should get it on. 360 or PC. On the 360 I have my ME1 character all the way through ME2. On PC I just have ME2.

It says there are "grave consequences". That usually means bad, but hopefully the Rachni will recognize the Reapers as a common threat to all life and help Shepard.

Why? The Mass Effect team seemed to listen to its fanbase since Mass Effect 1. Mass Effect 2 had a lot of things freely done to appeal to the fanbase, such as a Tali romance, no Mako, etc.

How did I know? Because when people complained about Dragon Age 2, BioWare (and the apologists) basically called them morons that couldn't understand the game and couldn't deal with the evolution of design? A lot of people complained about stuff in Mass Effect 2, like planet scanning, the lack of weapon mods, smaller skill trees, etc. It's nice to see the Mass Effect team listening, at least.

I think he's trying to say that the ME team at Bioware and the DA team are different and that the ME team has a history of listening to the fanbase, unlike the DA team.

The people who blindly accept any change, give no criticism, and insult people with valid complaints do the most damage. "Apologists" is right official forums are full of them. Nice to see some things got trough to Bioware though, Mass Effect 3 sounds better already.

I don't dislike BioWare. I own every BioWare game since KoTOR, and I'm trying to get their earlier ones. Dragon Age: Origins is one of my all-time favorite games. Why would I dislike BioWare?

And people bring up Dragon Age 2 because it's the same company, and Dragon Age 2 was clearly designed in a way that would capitalize on Mass Effect's success. It's not hard to figure out.

And I knew it would be you because you defend the company, just like dreman and texas do, fyi, though you are by far the best spoken and least fanboyish of the three, and the only one I wouldn't qualify as an apologist. :D

Why did I know, every time soneone talks about Mass Effect 3, people will bring how they hate/love Bioware (and Dragon Age 2) and the thread will be nothing more than a circus between two blinded parties that can't really contribute to the actual topic other than arguing with each other on something that largely is more about Dragon Age 2. By the way, not sure if I like the fact we can pick up weapons. That gives devs chance to streamline the level design because now they can just give you the specific weapons you need to accomplish a certain thing, as opposed to actually preparing your guy beforehand and cope with the problem with whatever arsenal you have already. It will potentially give less variety.

Oh, and it's BioWare. They're sellouts so don't believe a word they say. Weapon modding is probably garbage and "larger skill trees" probably means instead of 4 skills, there are 5.

Loved Mass Effect 2, but 3 sounds even better. As long as the combat is vastly more varied, I'll be 100% happy. My 1 problem with ME2 was the repetitive combat (ok, and scanning...)

You need external USB memory for your 360, move your 360 save onto your external USB memory (go to I think this is the path: system settings > memory > wherever your ME2 save is).

Plug your USB into your PC, use program called MODIO (version 3.0 works best) to extract the save from the USB (more info here: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/128/index/2277020), upload to this site and convert to PC save: http://b4rt.rootnode.net/masseffect/index.php (you have to register, but it's quick)

[QUOTE="Midnight-Red"][QUOTE="SaltyMeatballs"] You can convert the saves to PC.SaltyMeatballs

Forgive my ignorance but how do you do that? I don't mind playing ME1 again when I get my PC but I would rather not.

Oh my GOD THIS IS AMAZING. Thank you so much.

hopefully the whole story and everything isnt as predictable, and they fix they pacing, for some reason i found the pacing off in ME2. i think im one of the few that actually enjoyed the first morexXxQuizzyxXx

nope i too though me1 was much better, the story was better and i also liked the ambition and scale of the game (i loved the mako the first few times i used it to land on alien planets unfortunately there was a lack of decent content on the planets)

[QUOTE="percech"]I'm really torn on which platform I should get it on. 360 or PC. On the 360 I have my ME1 character all the way through ME2. On PC I just have ME2. SaltyMeatballs
You can convert the saves to PC.

Really? How? I have ME1 & ME2 on 360 and PC. But my 6 characters are on my 360. If there's a way to convert those saves to PC, I'd be very pleased.

EDIT: Scratch that. Thanks to the post above ^ :)
