Blizzard released some new screenshots for Diablo III over the weekend. With the game not due until 2011 at the earliest, those with short attention spans have been warned.

It looks so good in motion, much more so than a screen still.

Well at least this gives me time to buy a PC that can play this game. Its no coming out for so long though its hard to get excited.

Starting to look very outdated... They don't even have a release date planed on top of it.

I guess when they are done milking WOW, they might actually get done with this.

Anyone know why this game has been in Dev so long? Its clsong on 4 Years is it not?

Lets be frank the game has a fully running game engine the dialogue is not exactly demanding so voice overs isnt a huge concern. What are they hanging on for?

Still a bit too bright for my tastes. Playing the original Diablo recently makes me wonder why they chose such a drastic change in styIe. The original was so dark... I guess it had a lot to do with being solely about dungeon delving.

They better hurry up, because if they delay it to 2012, we may not play this game at all :)

Looks... surprisingly good. Looking forward to it.... will have to burn through Torchlight in the meantime.skrat_01

Because Diablo II LOD sold around 15 million units, is arguably one of the best games ever made -if not the best-, maybe the most addictive one, and is still in the top 25 of more played online games in PC according to Xfire stats. Aside from WoW, Diablo or Stracraft can't think in another game to describe the word "success".

ehh i still dont know about this one..

looks to cartoony for me, not dark enough.

diablo 2 is my favortie game of all time, ive honestly logged over 5,000 hours, probably more, so i have VERY high standards. but i just dont think itll be as good as its 10 year old couterpart.

I agree. I gave up on D3, and am eagerly anticipating the torchlight MMO, which will be free. I don't think blizzard deserves the free pass they get on all their games, especially now that they have WoW as a cash cow.
