Looks interesting but I still miss the old dante.

Everything looks nice to me the only thing that i want see changed is the kind of saving/checkpoint, found it quite frustrating in the previous ones at times.

i was playing DMC4 in 1080p on my 200hz HDTV (it was capped at 120fps for some reason, oh well) on legendary dark knight mode a few weeks ago, so sweet

this will be such a downgrade

and to people saying this looks better than GOW3, i doubt it, as people have said, dont judge a game by bullshots

Atleast DMC's art dirrection is original. Do not get me wrong I loved GOW 1 and 2 but 3 really is nothing to write home about in that regard.

You guys are really clueless regarding DmC. It's only now non-canon because Capcom realises it will not meet their target and want to appease to the fans though it's too little too late. The game has gone through many changes; prequel, rebirth, preboot, reboot, origin and for now they have settled with 'alternative dimension'. But it just goes to show you how much of a mess the development of this titles has been. Not to mention Ninja Theory are the most inept developers when it comes to such a genre and franchise. Their past two titles are completely run-of-the-mill and by-the-numbers. Maybe good to wean little children into real video games but definitely not anything special. Most like it because they're blinded by the mo-cap and CGI which is good but doesn't hide the glaring flaws and abysmal frame rate.

Now DMC franchise is fast, frantic, stylish and beyond all 60 FPS. DmC(NT) on the other hand is slow, janky animation and apparently 30 FPS but knowing NT it will be well below. I am glad it's not canon anymore but the mere fact it exists is a threat to the original franchise. The two main idiots I mean guys behind DmC are Tameem from NT and Alex from the US branch of Capcom. And both have ridiculed not only the original franchise by callng it uncool, dated, fashionista but have also made fun of the fanbase which is unforgivable. And you think the real DMC fans should give a damn about this westernized version? It's the equivalent of saying total strangers should babysit ones children.

Yes, I do not understand the outrage at the character design... When capcom told Ninja Theory to make Dante like this (they originally wanted a similar look to the original)...

I mean and it is not even like this Dante has a stock look in video games. I for one appreciate this slim character with hair when contrasted to the bulky buzz cut characters (who I have no problem with either but it gets old when so many games feature this character).

I will mean I really loved Dante's character designs in 2 and 3 as much as the next guy (never played the first DMC). This is a reimagining of the 1st game though and was intended as such by capcom. Why blame Ninja Theory for working with what they have got?

This actually looks very good. But I'll wait for more details.

I personnally think that Enslaved has solid gamplay but it's just that the low framerate kinda gets in the way.

Yeah it did have solid gameplay. The platforming was a little simplistic at times but the combat was more than adequate.

I loved that game, so I'll probably like this effort too.

Wow didn't know bayoneta looked so ugly and don't remember dmc4 looking so bad when I played but defiantly going to enjoy playing the new dmc with the much better art ****and modern graphics at full 1080p and 60fps on the pc.

Looks amazing, Western developers yet again showing up/schooling the japanese in how to make games.
