[QUOTE="eastside49er"][QUOTE="jdang307"] Ok your title says new chips been in there since July, then in your post you say you're guessing.
Awesome thread.

I guess Engadget is guessing as well then:
"we present the first of many you'll be seeing with the much-discussed, built-in HDMI port (and obviously the cooler 65nm chips onboard)."
They actually showed proof that HDMI is there by saying that people are actually playing with that. Did they show any proof other than that line that 65nm is there? No, and until then, it's speculation.
Well the 65nm chip has been in production for the last 2 quarters according to Engadget and the 45nm chips are on the way:
"The newer 65nm chip which the company produces for Microsoft went into production over the last two quarters, and Chia Song Hwee, Chartered's president and CEO, said that "you would expect 45nm to come on stream about 18 months from that timeframe."

Knowing this, I highly doubt MS would make a huge change like adding HDMI, while also having their chips in production for 6 months, without putting the new chips in as well. All of your naysaying, doom and gloom posting won't change that fact.
