Add some AA and add new ground textures... Then the game would be perfect.
I'm waiting for Dirt or maybe PGR4.

Looks like 2xAA to me. Either that or these screenshots rendered/captured at a higher resolution and downscaled.
This is probably the only racing game I'm going to be buying for quite a while. Not a fan of the genre, but I loved Forza.

Yeah, looks like it does have AA or something. But that one shot with the yellow and blue car... Looks jaggy all over the blue car.
I'm not a fan of racing games either. But I do like rally type games. Dirt is up in the air for me. 50/50 chance. PGR4 30/70.

Yeah, with 2x Multisampling you still get a good amount of noticible aliasing. The only reason it isn't terribly noticible on most edges is due to the (quite nice quality) motion blur (edit: maybe depth of field too?) covering most of these cars.
But the truth is you even get a small amount of noticible aliasing with 4xAA, though few people tend to detect it.
Graphics are perhaps not Forza's strong point, but the gameplay itself looks promising.-voodoo_child-
Have you seen the gameplay trailers ? It looks awesome!

Well, I saw a gameplay video on 1up a few weeks ago. But this month? No. I'll look around for one and perhaps revise my initial statement:)

Fanboy alert !

Hmm asnwer me this then. If im a fanboy then why do I own a 360? To me this game looks like crap right now. It does not look better than PGR3 at the moment. PGR3 was a luanch title. I expect better from this game since its been about year and half since the xbox360 came out.
How can anyone say this looks good. It looks worse than PGR3 and it came out at launch. Games are supposed to look better as developers get used to the hardware.Killfox
Unlike PGR3, Forza 2 runs in 60FPS @ 720p. It also runs far more advanced AI and physics. And I'd say it looks about on par with PGR3, if not better.
How can anyone say this looks bad?
I really dont care about FPS. If a game is locked at 30FPS your not going to tell the difference between 30 and 60. Killfox
You will be able to tell the difference between 30 & 60 fps in a racing game. And from what I've seen, Forza looks much better than PGR3 (which looked pretty poor at a few points)
looks crap :/ someone post some GTHD pics/vids Rhubarb9

agreed GTHD (gameplay video) looks better.

dude, that pic looks horrible....
look at the smudged textures behind the car on the right side, i never seen em like that since n64 era.

anyone who watches the video I posted of GTHD (a demo that came out a month after PS3 lanunched ) and then comes back and looks at these pictures of Forza 2 for xbox360 ( a full fledged second generation game for the system) they might seriously reconsider calling what is being shown here good.

GT:HD has no damage, poor physics, and no aesthetic customisation.

I was trying to prove that PGR3 looks better than forza 2, which it does. I was just trying to post a pic with a good car model.

Yeah its a demo and its sad that it looks better than forza2. Which is an actual game.

GT:HD does NOT look better than Forza 2. All the detail is in the cars in GT:HD, where the environments look crap. Plus, like I said before: Forza 2 has damage and more car customisation

I've got GT:HD. To me, the graphics of the environments are more important than the graphics of the cars; because I play with the inside car view

Physics are not graphics. A CPU does physics. A GPU does graphics. With the exception of cell.

I've seen wayyyy better screens than that for Forza 2.
Please provide me with pics then.
Compared to the ones pics that was shown then yes I've seen better. I still find the graphics better in GTHD.

The other 2 are (that I mentioned). The cars look great in GT:HD in screenshots; but when you play it they move stiffly
