might be the scans or the fact that the pis are also small. it would be awsome if it was that vivid though

They got gears 1 out in Nov 2006 which was one year after the 360 launch. I think they must not sleep.maybe just before 360 release but UE3 wasn't fit to produce games on the 360 until late 2005(even internally). And it wasn't fully functioning until April 2006...

Gears1 took two years of development. Mark Rein said it same time it he said it only took $10 mill to produce. With a team of 20-30 people..the achievments system is an atrifically created points system that tricks less intelligent consumers into playing games

65% could mean a variety of things and what they got left could be nothing more than polish and bug fixing. This is exactly why I say game development stages and % done really mean nothing to the consumer. All developers use different systems to gauge their progress, and sure we got a layout of what the generic development stages are like pre-alpha, alpha, beta, gold, ect. are but in reality that doesnt help us gauge how far they really are. Also every developer has different priorities for their game meaning they may want to get the graphics or gameplay refined earlier than the other making it impossible for the consumer to understand what exactly the devlopers have left to do.
Point being? Using development stages or % done as a plus or minus in an argument is pointless. Anyway Im not really point this out just to you but the entire topic and anyone else that will try to use any game's stage of development against or for a game in an argument.
Oh and these are not OXM scans, these are from Xbox 360 magazine.
65% complete from when the saw it which could have been around when it was first announced. Which is february.Yeah 65% complete?
That's cutting it close in my opinio for a November release.

Not really.the achievments system is an atrifically created points system that tricks less intelligent consumers into playing games
