TBH..

all of those kill Gears 2..L4d will MP GOTY and Crysis will probably be SOTY Again..

but still looking foward to gears2 if i have any more money left.

I really hope videos like this will stop the "it looks the same!" nonsense a little. It looks so much cleaner, more detailed and lacks the jagged edges, greyness and layer of fuzz which covered everything in the original to make it look artificially more "gritty".

crysis is good but the gameplay is kind of iffy. the graphics look great and kind of make up for that

farcry 2 is crysis with a different engine and no aliens.

l4d i'm looking forward to but tbh, it kind of looks a little bit like a css mod

yup the character models look so much better, the mp is 10x better, the new weapons are full of win, the frame rate looks much smoother, and the settings are larger and more epic in scale. i noticed a lot of changes to the old weapons and cover system as well. it seems like they thoroughly tweaked everything in the game.

And people criticized Killzone 2 for being grey.....

How does Farcry 2 have anything to do with crysis? Ubisoft is making it for god's sake. The only thing I can see of some resemblance is the open endness in which mulitple games are doing that.

And for the left 4 dead, 1 word. Valve.

i must be missing something i could of sworn i saw a level that was full of autumn color and another where you're in a forest.

everything in killzone 2 is grey so far

Did you actually watch the video? There's an autumn sun-set level where everything is amber, and a level where you're in a snowy alpine mountain area. The only greyness i saw was the city multiplayer level, and indoor factory setting; both of which are obviously going to have grey colours for obvious reasons.

don't get me wrong im buying all those games but i dont think any of them will outscore gears of war 2 or have multiplayer as good.

I wish I could somehow tell the difference between Gears 1 and Gears 2, other than the name.PS2_ROCKS

The autumn is nice but the forest at 0:25 sec isn't anything to brag about

watch the assault footage, the e3 footage, and the footage at the :26 mark. all of them have lots of color without going overboard. so far only one multiplayer map has been grey.

Looks average, they didn't show anything new, everything they already revealed in a more editd format.

I hate how the more I see of Gears 2 and LBP, the more I find myself thinking i'll be dissapointed.

lol i'll have to agree with this but i think the cheesy meathead dialogue fits the game perfectly. couldn't imagine them getting all upset and emotional after chainsawing a locust in half.

Man...those visuals are beautiful. They look better than MGS4 :o I doubt I'll be seeing any noticable bad textures unlike MGS4, hell, maybe none at all.

Those guns sound so cool. :D I'm itching for this! Hurry up November! :(

It looks amazing--from the seemingly smoother framerate, to the new weapons, the emphasis on not really dealing with energy/laser type weapons, and more importantly, maintaining the ideal that weapons should feel heavy and powerful.TecmoGirl

That's what I liked most about the video. This will help pull the player into the experience of war and hardcore gun action against their friends online and off.
