From all the videos I have seen, Gears 2 only has slight visual improvements over the original. That will not be enough to make it console graphics king IMO. We will see when the game is released. Heck, if the only thing they improve upon is the load screens popping up in the middle of battle sequences, I'll be happy. With the graphics at least. As far as the story goes, Gears 2 needs to improve that big-time!

those screens dont do the game justice. these pics are from a higher quality video. i think it looks better than kz2. the detail on the character models is amazing.

Subjective opinion. I love both games but I think they are just about the same level in details and graphics.

And look at that first screen :o That's the first time I ever seen that.

I'm open to the possibility that there might be some amazing graphical moments... Unless reviews say it's technically the best looking game out there... for now, it's simply not.

Geow2 is shaping up nicely, and visually its better than its sequel.... too bad its release is still 2 months away... :(
