and we are talking a huge expanisve explorable, destructiveenvironment, not just a track with a backdrop and a few nice car models with little physics or damage modelling.

so to be honest i don't find that impressive at all.

But the game looks brilliant hope it handles as good as the it looks, all this talk about damage makes me wonder how good of a driver some of you are I play forza a lot and I hardly crash so taking out damage modelling would harm my experience at all.

Its apperently gona be playable at Leipzeg, so we only have to wait a couple weeks to see it in motion.

No fair crysis owns all this is a console pre alpha build and it owns all racers on console in graphics at this stage and that sir is very impressive imo.

PGR was the same, and people said it looked better in garage than during a race, which is true, because although it is realtime, everything except the camera is stationary, allowing for improvements. However, even then, the in car shots prove this game is looking to smash Forza out of the race.

title of the post = gt5 comparable to real life, not other console racing games. I am simply showcasing a game that is far better in terms of photorealism.

If this was a strict "gt5 is teh bestest graphical racer!!11" thread i would have stayed out.

We'll see. Gameplay is what matters, and Forza 2 wins there.

No its a racing sim, and forza is a jack of all and a wizard of none.

no damage = arcade gameplay

if it was a racing sim it would have damage because damage is a real element of racing

Go ask any professional race driver if they would make a racing sim without damage

SirLee speaks the truth when pgr 3 shots came out they were said to be fake or the real game would not look like them but we all know how that turned out. Then the shots for the gthd demo came out and they were called fake but we all know how that turned out. Now GT5P shots come out same deal I will wait for the massive ownage that is sure to follow and the damage control from xboxer's lmao.

No hes right dude I love racing games (and cars in general) I mean look at my gamertag, and believe me it aint about the graphics; its kinda why I feel like PGR4 is mod with weather effects and bikes.

rofl. i have never laughed this hard in system war. that's how ifelt about ridge racer. we'll just have to wait and see if the gameplay/graphics for it makes up for the unavailable car damage.

This game looks amazing, totally DESTROYS any racing game on the 360, at least graphically, for now. We'll have to wait to see how it plays, but GT games have been my favorite racers by far in the past.
