Halo 3 looks more impressive every passing day, as more pics/videos and lists of its features come out, and I didn't really like the first 2. Though one thing I've always loved about Halo is its spectacular color scheme. The Halo games have always been fantastic from an art design perspective, and this one is no different. This pic illustrates that nicely.

I still wonder what people see in KZ2? The face and death animations are pretty much the only part of the game I liked from what I have seen. The rest of the game looked blah and the gameplay looked generic. I have a feeling when it comes to reviews, it will crash and burn just like the first one, but of course that won't stop the cows from hyping the hell out of it.

I still wonder what people see in KZ2? The face and death animations are pretty much the only part of the game I liked from what I have seen. I do think though, that we are playing games, and that colorful can't be bad. Especially because multiplayer in Halo games is a big focus. You won't have to worry about realisticness or anything in multiplayer.

I don't get why people say this is CGI it so obviously isn't.

Still looks like Halo 2 HD to me. I mean I love halo but im not blinded by fanboyism. Its still on my top list but cmon....

It seriously looks just like the beta. Bungie said SP would look better but that obviously was a lie. Than again, Im really not caring about the graphics that much. GP is where its at. Hopefully the Gameplay wont be Halo 2.5.

yea whats not to be honest about. i dont have a 360, used to, but still no matter what this game will sell great. graphics wise, i dont feel this is very next gen. ive seen better looking, and for a franchise of this caliber, they arent showing me anything that wasnt done on the 360 a year ago.

4 player online co op, massive levels, huge number of enemies. And it looks like that.

It makes Gears of War seem like nothing with it's confined areas and 8 enemies onscreen max.

sorry, but you are missing things when looking.. it's VERY next gen. i can't see how you miss all that stuff unless on purpose.

Maybe you'll see when playing HAlo3 and Halo 2 next to eachother... dunno. but it's quite obvious what a leap in graphics Halo3 is...

well the graphics definitely wont crash and burn, and u forgot to mention lighting, kz2 has the most complex lighting engine ever created probably surpassed by crysis im not sure

and its sad people think killzone 2 looks better. :lol:

Well I'm not sure how long you have been gaming, but it isn't all about the graphics, especially this generation, when just about every game looks great or is in HD (talking about PC, 360 and PS3 by the way). I'll give you Crysis and UT3. Maybe even Bioshock because when it comes to that game it is more about the art direction than the graphics, but Haze and Gears of War? No. Halo 3 is pushing the 360 hardware more than Gears could imagine and Haze looks like a steaming pile of dog crap, from the graphics to the gameplay.

Haze and GeOW do look better than Halo 3 no doubt. I mean sure Halo 3 will be pushing the hardware, but in comparing screens they look better. It was the same last year. Lems toted GeOW as the best looker, but on a technical scale it was nothing.

We are all allowed to make mistakes. We are human after all. Haze looks awful IMO, but you will have the cows hyping it to no end, much like Killzone 2.

Halo 3 looks better than Gears IMO because of the scale. 16 miles of draw distance and 100s of enemies, vehicles, etc on the screen at a time. Gears was lucky to have 4 enemies on the screen at a time and the areas in which you fought were very small in scale. No draw distance to even speak of. Don't get me wrong. Gears was a great game and I have spent 100+ hours playing it, but it is old news as far as graphics go. Halo 3, Crysis, CoD4, UT3, RE5, MGS4, Uncharted: DF, etc have surpassed it IMO and it will only get better. I just wonder how good Gears of War 2 will look and wonder if they will make it bigger in scale to push the system more?

Yeah they really are, the textures on them are so damn crips, everyone who is saying that this is not looing good is probably a fanboy or and anti Halo person, becuse that looks very nice, great details and awesome textures.
