Halo 1,2 and 3 where all masterpieces of this and last generation, but.... with this new trilogy of Halo 4, 5 and 6, made by 343 instead of the legendary Bungie, can they really live up to this legendary series? personally iam really excited to see the new direction of this series, as I love playing as master cheif, but i cant help but get the sense, of possibly disappointment, but i truly hope NOT!

to be honest i dont even care. i stopped caring for alot of all things 360 for over 2 years now. it just collets dust. i used to like halo, but now it seems like an average fps to me. pc has spoiled me beyond belief
something about it seemed iffy didnt it? maybe im just nitpicking but master chief's movements seemed quite stale to me. meh, it's just a teaser so far so i guess no need to take it apart
It really wont matter, it has Halo in the title, every single member of 343 could all take a dump in each case slap masterchief on the cover and it will still be hailed as the next coming and saviour.
Halo 3 was the end of the most popular trilogy on the planet (videogamewise) at the time. It also had amazing features (Remember Halo 3 forge and custom games?)
Halo Reach was genuinely a good game
Halo 4 has to do something AMAZING and undescribable
As long as the new Halo games aren't made by MS's studios, they would certainly have a chance of being something great. On the other hand, if MS gave it to Rare, lol.

you have no idea, how much i hope ur right! I heard a lot of the top level people of bungie are what started 343, so depending on how this goes, either 343 is going to suck, or bungie is.
Wouldn't matter as long as it has Halo in it name the Fans will love the game no matter what, and the haters of the game will hate the game no matter what. Personally I think the game is in good hands, but we'll have to wait to see how they make Halo 4
Yes, they will. Halo CE was amazing, 2 was good aside from the Arbiter's levels, 3 sucked, and Reach was just "meh." I think a fresh take on the franchise would be good.
Hells no, Halo 2's campaign was awful. And I personally didn't care for the MP in 2, pretty much everything about 1 I liked better. But most people loved 2's multiplayer so you should've just said 2 was a MP masterpiece :P
Personally the only one of the first trilogy I think was anything special was Combat Evolved. Halo 2 and 3 didn't feel as epic, and I thought the boss battles in Halo 2 were awkward in the context of the story.
I believe in 343. All the developers there are really excited to work on Halo, they all have genuine passion for it. Towards the end of Bungie's run I think they got tired of it, and anyone that wanted to continue making Halo games went to 343. All the new devs might inspire fresh and original ideas Halo has yet seen, all the while guided by some old Halo vets like Frankie O'Connor. Halo 4 could either turn out incredibly well or it's a massive f*** up.
i honestly don't think it is going to be nearly as hard to do as people think. The first three were all really good games.. Halo 3 is still my favorite console shooter of all time.. Despite having a mediocre single player...but I HATED what bungie gave us with ODST and Reach and I am glad someone else is working on the series now. Maybe now we can get a solid campaign mode.

Honestly I preferred ODST and Reach over Halo 3. Simply because of the single player.
