new high res heavenly sword screens

This game looks amazing to me... honestly those of you who complain about textures dont realise that you wont be looking at that for 2 hours it's the overall presentation of the game that matters.... the whole experience.... and i see nothing wrong with the texture [know how hard it is to model and do all that crap, dont take it for granted]

game looks great to me and the artstyle and colors are very beautiful in my opinion...

I agree. The game looks amazing, one of the best coming out and from what I've seen in motion the animation is amazing.

The only thing I really wanted improved is the water. 

Yeah, I'm not impressed.  The textures on the mountains in the background look very FFXI-esche to me (namely in the first screen).

Nice particle effects and whatnot, however.  I'll reserve final judgement until it's finished of course.

I tried the enjoy part, but it didn't work. Didn't enjoy it... The 360 could dish that out easily, and if the original Xbox was pushed to it's limit it could probably do that too... kind of.brightshadow525

the game was originally suppose to come out for the xbox in 2004 but was never released and then picked up by sony. link. hell, even the facial animations haven't changed, just added hi-res textures for the ps3. the sad thing is, the game looks exactly the same for the original xbox and ps3 except the ps3 is in hd.

these are the pics for the original xbox taken in 2004! and it looks a hell-of-a-lot better than the ps3 version.

just add monsters, the developer, and this ip were bought out and their name changed to ninja theory. the game then went into production of a next gen console later to known as the ps3.

PD0 played nice, was not stunning, but man the more i see Heavely Sword and Lair in 720p, the more i think PS3 is a REAL bad joke, those textures are not even PS2 quality !!!!

And everything looks barren in HD, like in Lair, Kameo SMOKE both those games put together, the textures and shaders were like 2 generaions ahead, same with the detail in the world's environment

I saw those screens a while ago, they look good.

yea their such garbage that halo 2 sold 2.38 million copies ($125 million) in one day and gears sold 4 million copies in 2 months, second only to halo 2 which sold 5 million copies in one month.

Why do screenshots always look worse than Video footage? I notice that with everything. l_The_DetoX_l

because in videos, the motion tends to hide flaws such as aliasing. also, when playing the game, you're preoccupied trying to play the game instead of staring at the "pretty textures".

Impressed and then some. I'm still expecting this game to be the first big hit that has to do with SCEA for the ps3 that is if there has not already been a big hit that SCEA was involved in.odin2019

actually it's SCEE. the developer, Ninja Theory, is based in Cambridge, UK.

That game would shine on 360, the lighting/textures/colors would be 2x better as in 360 Oblivion, the PS3 Oblivion is like a joke comparing, the low res rock textures, the flat town grounds and washed colors on PS3 make me laugh everytime i see that gametrailers comparisson

I have learned  this last year, when i see SUPER polished PS3 pics, never to take them as true ones, those are FAKES, ok ?

Same as old HS and Lair pics, that got the downgrade treatment

Still, IF this game when releases looks as good, it will have come close to matching Kameo, a 1.5 year old game on 360

The words blurry, undefined and bleh come to mind. For some reason i remember the game looking much better than this in most screens ive seen prior to this; are these really representitive of the capablities of the game?

I mean; $600    Lets not forget that
