New images of SOCOM: Confrontation

The game looks better and better every time I see new screen shots. I am very hyped for this game aswell, looks pretty good so far, enjoy.

well the graphics arent top notch, but no socom game really had top notch graphics. And people who say this looks terrible, past socom games still have a decent online following to this day. If this game is like or better than the ones in the past i will be happy.

I own a ps3 and im not even going to try to defend that statement. The graphics aren't that great, especially after having cod4. Though this game still has awhile before being released so i hope the graphics improve.

Some people really seem to love SOCOM...I've never realy been a fan, especially since it was out around the time really realistic shooters like ghost reacon were coming out (in the sense you had pretty much no health at all), looks like it's got potential thoughMr_Apple_Soup

I feel the opposite, now I have tried to get into the Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, and a few other games (just went blank on the names of the games) but I haven't found any that does anything for me after playing the Socom games. There is so much to concentrate on when playing single player missions because to keep the grades up and keep your team alive you have to plan every move of Alpha team and every move of Bravo team before you get to each area of combat in each mission. The on-line game if played as a sqaud can be a challenge for each person in the squad.

Ok here's a challenge for any 360 fan that says Socom games are nothing that good I challenge them to complete Socom 1 at Vice Admiral in 90 days or get all 32 badges in Socom Combined Assault in the same time frame. If they can finish either of these games in that time then I may take what they have to say about the game a little more seriously. I think that the people that put these games down have never played any of the games or they never were good enough to beat the games in single player.

After finishing most of these games I found that any of the Ghost Recon, COD, and the Splinter Cell games were a cake walk in single player.

All of the screens that are available to the public, including the ones the gentleman above^^^^^^^^^^ posted, are 1 year old, and from the game in PRE-ALPHA stage. The game is supposedly in alpha, or beta right now, but they are not revealing polished screenshots, until near release of the game. When hype for this game has reached much higher levels.armymen4

Did you know that Zipper has a fairly big hand in this game although Slant Six is the developer Zipper is giving them a lot of technical support along with Sony. And Zipper is working on another Socom game that will be coming out later that will be single player and multi-player.

you havnt played gears then seeing how the best players usually get 1 kill a round depending on how good you team is

Ive played Gears at a friends house, while it is hard, I could still get kills.

like i said when it comes to online games it depends on who your playing against that determines how hard it is yet you dont fintd this to be true. which is plain sad
