why does the main character look like a douche frat boy?

Graphically and gameplay wise, this game looks awesome.
That said, there is one MAJOR problem I have the game from all the media I've seen.
The psuedo-punk, hipster, smart-ass main character is going to drive me insane in 15 minutes unless they dial down on his dialogue.
Yeah, I get it. They wanted an "edgy" character that people wouldn't label as "bland"...but I fear that this guy is going to drive me nuts.
But he r w3ar1ng ChuCK TaYl0r A11 starz which showz he r rebel!!
game looks gorgeous, but so does ryse.
The thing about Ryse is that it could have been a good game, not a great game because Crytek lacks the skill to make one of those, but a good game. I think there was some pressure and nudging from MS and the heads at Crytek to release the game on launch day. In fact I think Crytek was willing to skimp on content and quality for the sake of releasing on launch day. If they had just held back and taken an extra 6 months or so, I believe they could have made something that was half enjoyable to play. So just by not releasing on launch day, Sucker Punch already made the right choice. Not to mention that Sucker punch is a pretty decent development studio.

Poor Jankarcop , can't get those amazing PS4 exclusives out of his head
Looks pretty.
I haven't played an Infamous game, though. Is there any reason to expect this to score about 8.5?
Sony's best franchise by a long shot. I hope it's at least as good as inFAMOUS 1 and 2. The only thing that bothers me right now is that they haven't shown anything about the series' unique stamp on the superhero genre: the morality system.
4/10 quote me on it.
7 is the lowest it would ever get. 4/10 won't happen. Quote ME on that
