LMAOOOOOOO. Out of all things, the gunplay and gun design is KZ is literally the best out there.
As I said in the thread on GAF about it, I'm a little worried that all these new features and combat mechanics will make the player a bit over powered. Especially cos the AI doesn't seem to that special.
I mean you have the OWL whith its many tools, you can see through walls and stuff, you can slow down time and you can also be saved from death.
I hope some later fight scenarios get a bit more hectic and require all these things more

I think the intensive lighting was used to hide the bland textures in the game.
Thing is cows are generally too stupid too see through these visual tricks and illusions.

Seriously hope the AI is much better than what is presented in the videos. In KZ2 they were pretty fun in higher difficulties (IMO at least), don't see any logical reason to have them dumbed down...unless they are doing all demos on easy? I have heard that somewhere but without substantial evidence is just BS for all I care.
Though graphically, this is one of the top contenders for best looking next-gen launch game!
Looks like a low difficulty setting to me, yea. AI doesn't even react when you're 15' away.

looked awesome and this is the first KZ im very excited about. Hopefully the campaign is tough on the hardest difficulties and takes 15+ hours to complete.
I've been trying to avoid watching any videos of the game to keep myself pleasantly surprised and I have to say that with all the stuff they've added it's like it's a different game. I guess GG got tired of lems on SW calling their franchise generic.

Yeah we have been seeing how scared and jelly cows are over Ryse ever since E3
Really unimpressive. 80% of what is on screen are low quality or google maps styled buildings that are not play area. The only detailed areas are the top two floors of the building. There is nothing special happening here.
Game still looks good. Just hoping it plays as good as it looks. We'll see if it can surpass KZ2 gameplay and AI.
What is this supposed to mean? KZ2 and 3 gameplay was 'meh'. This for once looks much more interesting and beautiful art direction.

The volumetric lighting and specular reflections are all really nice. The textures seem to be consistenly high too. Theyre's also some great AA implemented too

Maybe if GG actually did textures right and fixed their gun models you wouldn't be hearing this?

It's outselling COD on Xbone and even COD on PS4 (which is already ahead of COD on Xbone)! Nice to see this game doing well. Putting KZSF as a launch title was the best move Sony could have made.

Those games had the benefit of being much more enclosed and linear. Branching out into a more open world type of gameplay could break them or make them less impressive.

They said they wouldn't use FXAA in the final game. I hope FXAA is killed early on this gen..

I hope they do, it looks very clean in KZSF with very little jaggies. A lot better than we got on PS3/360 this gen.
