I read an article recently that showed new screenshots. The game has had major cutbacks in the graphics dept. to raise the framerates...

Just search for the new screenshots. Open them and you'll see what I mean. The graphics don't look nearly as good as early screenshots. But early revisions of the game were said to only run at about 5 frames per second, so I'm not surprised.

While I respect your opinion I question your sight. You also seem to make all these comments with "Nothing" to back them up. Like the 5 frames per second BS.

No, I read a hands on review of Lair that said that the framerate dropped to 5 frames per second. But IGN said that the framerates were a llittle better when they played it recently. My point was that they downgraded the graphics to do this. Look at the screenshots. Not just the thumbnails. The dragons just don't look as good, and the textures are a little washed out.

just because you don't know that analog signals produced from video cards were originally in digital form and converted to analog doesn't mean everyone is as ignorant. having it go straight to digital is easy. I'm not saying analog is better than digital quality. i'm saying that to say a graphics chip is designed around analog is purposefully ignoring the important aspects of the graphics chip. it's obvious that he's under pressure to do so.

What happens when you don't have a HDTV? Your PS3 support VGA? No... :lol:

You can use a 360 with a PC monitor.

He would obviously say PS3 + Wii is the perfect combination, he wants to sell his games, too bad gamers will decide what's perfect for them. And it doesn't matter how much Sony pays to his second parties to hint the Sixaxis was planned since the beginning, it was stolen from Nintendo.

You know I have a Samsung LN-S3296D and I use VGA because it clearer and brighter colorful picture.

More and more HDTVs are droping DVI for VGA. Component is outdated. Can't get a signal more then 1080p on it.

I'll take my word for it. Here is for your doubting. A nice pic of my TV.

Do me a favor and look up "Conflict of interest".

You see, he's developing a PS3 game. To tell people to run out and buy a 360 would be detrimental to his own bank account. Thus, he has a .... say it with me ... conflict of interest. Even if he believes what he's saying * the source is invalid as he's selling PS3 software.

* If he truly believes what he's saying than the source is doubly invalid because it would be the ravings of an insane mind.

Because on my TV VGA looks better. Plus 360 can run games in true 1080p and upscale games that arent to 1080p so why not.

I use HDMI for my videotron HD digital cable box. HDMI gives me nothing but compatibility issues that I actually traded in my 42 inch Sharp Aquos 1080p for a 40 inch Sony Bravia 1080p TV.

I personally cant see much of a difference between component and HDMI for both SD and HD channels.

Where do you get your info?

There are several games coming out for 360 that are native 1080p. Please....just stop. It doesn't help your pro-PS3 rantings if you lie about the competition. You just end up getting owned (again) and anyone that's on the fence soon realizes that Sony Fanboys have to lie to make their systems look better, while Microsoft fanboys just need to start playing to make their systems look better.

Can you read or not? I said more and more HDTVs are droping DVI for VGA.

After all you can get nice upscaled DVD's over VGA but not component.

Yeah the manual for my HD digital cable box still shows DVI but they have since removed DVI on the actual box. Also my sony bravia shows DVI in the manual but there is also again no DVI input just HDMI, VGA, Component and RCA.

Where did they say 50%, but I am glad to hear him speak of the headroom they will have. Something to look forward to. I've already heard from a big name Dev Mark from epic speaking like hes Very close to the 360's limit.

What's the big deal about this game?! I don't get it. Doesn't look like anything special to me. The dragons look good -- not remarkable, just good -- and I'm in to the fantasy vibe, but the textures on the environment look lame, the smoke looks dumb and all the soldier dudes are generic and identicle. It lacks character...know what I mean? If you controlled the dragon with the analog stick the game wouldn't get any hype at all. Don't mean to be a jerk, that's just my impression. Put this game next to Oblivion and you see what I mean...it's all gimick, no style.

And it's totally fine if "You" don't like it's style. "I" on the other hand find it very impressive ,and finding it very hard to wait for this game. I happen to disagree on many of ur points but most of them are just opinion based so no need to go into them really.

In VERY FEW cases, he is right. It all depends on the monitor. On some, DVI looks better. On others, VGA looks better. One does not definitively look better than the other...

As good as this game looks graphically please dont hype it higher than AA it jsut doesnt really stand up to many other 360 PS3 titles coming out
