new leaked call of duty black ops single player mission... GOTY!?

single player campaign looks awesome, multiplayers looks awesome. black ops will win best fps of the year no doubt and possibly game of the year? ill bet on it.

treyarch should of changed the little stuff like flag icons in domination, and the lobby screen... too similar to MW2 still a grey bland screan when halo reach gets like a nice space shot of earth lol... but w/e

GOTY? No way, but I think this'll be the best CoD yet and I'm hoping its an improvement over the massive pile of crap that is Modern Warfare.

No, stop saying this game is GOTY worthy, it's getting rather annoying.

Why is it not GOTY worthy? It's mixing up the formula a lot, adding in a ton of cool new features, and it has the smooth CoD gameplay that people love. It could easily be GOTY. Haters gonna hate.

I was wondering how they were gonna pull off the whole Caster Oil mission

supposedly black ops has more epic set pieces than COD 4, which is an incredibly bold statement to make.

I for one am looking forward to it. I personally thought COD 4 and MW 2 had exceptional campaign set pieces, which, to me, is the most important part of a twitch FPS like COD.

Watched a few minutes, all I needed to see. Game delivers.

have some really good quality 720p videos here.... I think it looks better than MW2, but I've read a lot of other people say otherwise. Dont agree with then I think its a big improvement considering how old the engine is.

The facial expressions are amazing. I felt like I was watching real people talking. I'm off to pre-order this bad boy :)racing1750

Interestingly, Treyarch used the same motion capture technology James Cameron used for Avatar, so every facial expression and every inch of the characters within the game are off of a real actor. In a video I saw, they said they used more then 10-30+(can't remember the exact number) professional actors and stunt actors to capture some scenes. Pretty impressive how much Treyarch is investing into this game and the budget must of been huge if Treyarch could afford that type of motion capture technology, a tech that isn't being used that much in the film industry as of yet.

Spoil away. The single-player game will be five hours of cliche cr*p, and the multiplayer is going to maginify all the previous mistakes made in the series. I'm not going to make the mistake of buying another Treyarch game again.

If history repeats itself, it will just be an average game, because Treyarch is are developing it. They seldomly get AAA scores for their games.

Uh, yeah, they're accurate. As in not, in any way shape or form, like actual guns. Every gun acts exactly the same, has the same accuracy at any range. It's silly, and is why it has poor gunplay.

And the accuracy drops significantly online, but not due to increased realism, but because of the horrendous netcode that COD has.

Not gonna watch...Black Ops is gonna be awesome but I don't think it'll be GOTY material

Call Of Duty is an awesome franchise, always delivers an exciting campaign, but haters gonna hate! I cant wait for this, gonna be amazing!

i'm sure the campaign is filled with exciting moments and such, but the gun play is sooooooo bad...

This is 2010 now, not 1998 golden eye age. All the weapons handles almost handle EXACTLY the same. It almost makes it pointless to have that high amount of weapons. If you want a game that does weapons much better and is still fairly fast paces, look at Counter-Strike: Source. Casuals of course will eat this up. You know why? Because they don't have a long history of playing FPS's and want something that's just easy to pick up. People will play the same stuff long enough and get tired, watch (unfortunately, since there is an FPS revival amongst casuals, it will take way too long to get tired of games with the same crappy gun play).
