New MAG Review in: 9/10

Has it been 24 hours! Can I trust this review!

I'v noticed a lot of people were playing the game yesterday on ps3 so i had to ask a couple of people about it and seems like everyone are enjoying it and how it looks better than the beta, the game sure look good, i'll hopfully get my hands on it by next month, pretty sure GS will give it a score between 8.5-9.0

WoW did get reviewed in 1 day so it should take reviewers about a week to release a review

I'll wait for review sites like GT, IGN, and Gamespot.

yea its an unknown website, but I just wanted to pass the information along...with every new review, impression I get a little more interested, and I might actually pick this one up eventually (after Mass Effect 2 however)

The sound is perfect, it sounds like you are in the middle of a war zone.

Creating M.A.G was certainly a risk on Sony's part, however credit where its due because this game is an instant ****c and worthy of a place in everyone's Playstation 3.

OK first, isnt this an online only game? How the heck did the story get 8.0? Secondly, originality?................REALLY?? :|

Oh I know, I'm not trying to say anything negative about you posting the review. I'm just saying I'll rather keep my hype low until I start seeing review scores like that from known sources.

if it doesnt support keyboard and mouse im not playing it and couldnt care less about it. :D

Maybe the overall score is an average and the author didn't want to mark the game down for being what it is, an online-only game. I don't know about MAG, but anyone who marked down games like TF2 for not having a story would be a laughingstock of the day.

As for originality... All that means is that he's never played anything quite like it.

very true but a few posters here who have the game seem to like it alot, so its not too farfetched to think this review is a decent one..either way im dead broke right now and still have mass effect to buy before I even think about getting MAG

I guessed at it getting a 8.5 before any reviews were done. 9/10 is a very good score.

You're getting a lot of crap because the other day a guy made a thread about MAG and how reviews in the next 24 hours aren't gonna be credible.

MAG does have a story surprisingly enough, and its fully influenced by your faction and everybody's actions which is cool. I guess the innovation part might come from FRAGos and the leadership type stuff, though I probably wouldn't give it higher than an 8.5 simply because its so darn similar to Cal of Duty and Battlefield gameplay wise.

Damn. From what I'm hearing, this game's pretty good and shouldn't be judged based on the beta. I was hoping the game would be a stinker so I wouldn't feel so bad about not owning a PS3. Ah well, there's always BC2 to look forward to... more than a month from now.alittletoohappy

which is the same for most of the Xbox fanboys who have been bashing the game since sony announced it...but they would never admit it (not calling you a fanboy btw)

I predict a 6.5 - 7.5 here at GS. Terrible graphics and dated gameplay mechanics. Great concept though.-RocBoys9489-

maybe not AAA but ive only been hearing positive things from people who actually own the game. wasnt planning on getting this game but after all the comparisons to cs, i gotta grab a copy.
