Looks good as usual. And I see it's carrying the tradition of carrying the old tracks down as well as having a lot of new ones (just like Mario Kart DS). :)
This is a WHOLE new game, dude. :| I think he's trying to say Mario Kart is the same game which i do agree with. They dont really change anything with the gameplay or how it feels. But Mario Kart is one of those games you must buy on every new Nintendo platform.[QUOTE="AtariKidX"]No....thanks.I am very happy with Mario Kart on DSi.nintendoboy16
Holy crap the 3DS screen is small. Not sure what everyones problem with these shots of a Stretched out image. I think you are to used to the BS devs feed ya.
Anyway Mario Kart looks much better than the DS version

I wonder why they called it mario kart 7. They want to shy from the DS part of it and don't want to sell the 3D part of it. But the 7 sort of makes you think "damn that's a lot of mario kart games." Did they take out the blue shell and make it so you can win by using skill?and people say microsoft has no originality. Really nintendo? another **** mario kart. sigh.

It looks like a very good Mario Kart game but I'll not be buying it because I don't have a 3DS and right now I have no intention of getting one.
Graphics will always be bad on the 3DS no matter what anyone shows or says. The tech in it isnt exactly the best.
After coming off Crysis 2 and Demon Souls and looking at the 3DS makes me wanna take out my eyeballs.

why are youcomparing a console game to a handheld? how dumb is that
More mario kart, very little innovation since the snes days.
Essentially a game with power ups which remove the sense of skill, the same characters which infest half of all nintendo games and even "classic tracks" so they don't have to bother coming up with new ones.
And the fanboys will lap it up because it's one of Nintendo's biggest franchises and they feel obliged to.

Or maybe because we enjoy Mario Kart? It's not that hard of a concept to understand that maybe, just maybe, that maybe people buy stuff, because they enjoy it? Mindblowing I know.I'll continue to "lap it up" as longas the fun continues. Not everything is all about fanboys and blind loyalty in life you know. :|
Of course Mario kart is going to use Mario characters again. That's not rocket science :|. And what's wrong with classic tracks? Nintendo still adds new tracks to each game as well. Ever since Mario kart 64 Each Mario Kart always has 16 unique tracks. The same thing applies to current mario karts too, they just decided to add 16 classic tracks for variety in Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii as well.
And while Marioo Kart isn't innovative, it still has it's changes to make it different.
Double Dash had two players to a kart, which was a pretty significant change.
Mario kart DS was the first Mario kart to add an online feature.
Mario kart Wii had the wheel periphiral and added bikes. Added much more characters than previious Mario karts, including the option of using your own Miis. Had better online
Again, not really innovative or anything big, but at the same time, so what? Not everything has to be super innovative all the time, sometimes it's nice to get a product and know what you'll get from it, sometimes it's nice to return to something you know you like. I think it is perfectly fine that Nintendo keeps the same formula yet always adds new features to its games to still differentiate them.

Nah, they'd never do that :P
Plus, the Blue Shell is like the ultimate in troll tools! Nothing funnier than blasting a friend with one of those JUUUUUST before the finish line and snatching first place from him
it will have less jaggies on the 3ds hand held screens always look bad blown up. I am sure 90% of the nay sayers are psp fan boys.
It looks okay but those screen shots are stretched out. I'm not really that excited for this installment of Mario kart like I was compared to MKDS and MKWii. However, I will end up purchasing it and a 3DS down the line.

by god!! i think you've won every 3DS screenshot argument on system wars!!
yea...everyone saw a stretched video of star fox 64 3D gameplay on IGN and fliiped out because of the jaggies....but on the actual screen it's completely fine
when will people learn not to judge games on screenshots....they're either Bullshots to make the game look better, or stretched to make it look worse
