 I get the feeling she will star in one of those adult situations like in the first Mass effect. Mmm, Mmm. good. This is one incredible looking game don't ya think ?

The Story.

Oh dear. I really feel sorry for the person at EA marketing who thought highlighting this woman was a good idea.

I love Mass Effect. WILL buy ME2. . .and I'm sure she will be in one of those love situations, yet I doubt I ever use her when I'm playing. Sorry, I'm just not into her as a character at all.

Are those brands all over her body in addition to the full body tattoos? To say they went overboard with her design would be quite an understatement. Still, I am sure she will make for an amusing character to interact with and will be great in battle situations. As far as a romance option, though? Don't think so, lol.

The obligatory love interest you mean?

As long as its not as forced as Mass Effect 1 i'm happy.

Especially after the awkward hilarity of ignoring Ashley through the campaign of Mass Effect 1 only to have her offer sex right before the games final act.

If your character does not develop with another, why the *hell* would you offer this as narrative option Bioware?

Just stupid - hell it ruins Ashley's character too, from this perspective.

Anyway Biotics are awesome, and she seems like a great character - I'd probably end up having her or Grunt and Tali in my party/squad.

...Now I understand Thane and Wrex inhabit a somewhat moral grey area, so its plausable for shepard to recruit them but that other Krogan (''Grunt'' was it?) and Subject Zero are another story. Even a renegade hero should be able to destinguish anti-heros from villains. :? I'm just wait for the Emperor Palpatine squadmate reveal trailer at this point! :P

Small area's ???? I couldn't disagree more I mean just the planets alone were huge albeit not enough going on but M.E.2 fixes that and fills a bunch in. There are Huge area's.

The game world was tiny, most of the planets are barren copy-and-paste wastelands and the main quest can be finished in a sitting or two. The only 'big' section in the game is the Citidel which gets reused to death. Had the game been about twice as long and didnt put so much meat on the bone with the lame planetary sidequests, it could been easy AAA.

The uncharted planets? Apart from that Kotor planets>>>Mass effect planets in size. Seriously when fallout 3 and oblivion exists everything is smaller, but which rpg actually has smaller areas tham mass effect?

Probably cause there are few attractive chicks (In comparison to the not so good lookign ones) Then there are few attractive chicks who can lay a brotha out. They're just making it a smidge more realistic.

Also, girls always complain that female characters are too attractive and don't portray women right and blah blah blah.

You can't win.

Anyway, I'm sure the new characters will play out well. People need to cool their jets. A character like Project Zero only makes sense. If they just made more little angels like Tali and Liara it would get pretty stale.

Wow... A standard model-esque DOA girl in a suit of armor. I always found it irritating that they made Samus look like such a plain-jane. At least Subject Zero is a bit of a new look from what EVERY OTHER WOMAN in video games is a variant of - the sort of standard cute, skinny, young woman. Heaven forbid a woman have a scar, or anything but a face/body that you'd expect to be on the cover of vanity fair, or as Zero-Suit Samus shows us, a body Hugh-Hefner would sign up for.

Would an apron or a miniskirt make you more happy? :p Or just the all-but carbon-copy female protagonist we've seen showing up in games since.. Well, forever?

seems like the typical punk goth "don't **** with me" female character that's been done a million times over.

seriously...she's trying way to hard :?

I've seen female characters be badass without pulling off this over done persona.

Shinobishyguy

You know, women can overcompensate too. You see COUNTLESS male figures who are similar to this woman in games... And, frankly, your assertion that this is a terribly overdone female persona is just outright wrong - for one, there are *WAY* more men characters who fit this bill, and for two, female characters like this are a tiny, tiny, tiny minority in game female protagonists.

It'll be a test of Bioware's ability to develop a character to see whether they leave her a one-dimensional tough-girl, or whether they flesh her out a bit.

Ah yes, but this is pretty different Ashley's character, through the course of the game. Problem is Bioware really try to make her not easy going, and develop intimacy, however this flaw sticks out if you don't follow the narrative Bioware offers... so you end up having a completely different perspective on the character. Weird eh.
